Jummah Mubarak. Please do keep Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky, who remains unjustly imprisoned alongside his wife in a Nigerian regime dungeon, sincerely present in your prayers today, as well as all the families of the Zaria Martyrs whose hearts are still in shambles. “The Ummah” has not only forgotten them, but abandoned and betrayed them; the Saudi regime’s ever-corrupting money, fused with the heavy-handed brainwashing techniques of the US-‘Israeli’ Empire, has created the vilest of vile fitnah. Reflecting further on Zakzaky’s plight and the failure of the Muslim world as a whole to come to his aid, I am reminded of the Wahhabi-Salafi doctrine of fighting the “internal oppressor” or “immediate enemy”, prioritized by the likes of the “Muslim” Brotherhood, Hizb ut-Tahrir, CAIR, etc., before fighting the “external oppressor” or “enemy from afar”. One would think that the Islamic Movement of Nigeria’s bright-faced leader fits this description to the letter, for Zakzaky is one of the world’s premier ‘Ulama who has been monstrously persecuted by a secular tyrant for preaching Islam that is both anti-Imperialist and anti-Zionist in solidarity with the globe’s Moustazafeen. Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan before him are the very embodiment of “internal oppressors”.
And yet, none of the aforementioned groups, nor their offshoots, have been able to muster even a mumble for Zakzaky. Why? As awfully upsetting as it may be, the quiet can be explained with simplicity: It is because the Sheikh is Shi’a. That’s it. For sitting high above the Wahhabi-Salafi doctrine of fighting the “internal oppressor”, as well as every other tenet of their perversion of our Deen, is the “Shi’a are more dangerous than the Jews” concept introduced by Ibn Taymiyyah (L.A.) roughly seven centuries ago. If Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky was a Salafi, there wouldn’t be an Ikhwanji or Ikhwanji ally–think “human rights” and “pro-Palestine” activists–on any continent not vocally advocating for his immediate release and then some.
This atrocious sectarianism, financed by Al-Saud and actively promoted by World Zionism, has manifested itself in so many places across the Arab-Islamic world, from Yemen to Lebanon, Syria to Iraq, Bahrain to Pakistan, but nowhere is it more glaring than Nigeria, where “Muslim” Brotherhood types go against the very principle they’ve organized on for the last 100+ years because the person–and this isn’t just a mere person we’re talking about but a modern-day Islamic saint and a revolutionary of unparalleled merit–in question is a follower of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) It’s a case of hatred and hypocrisy amalgamating to become something evermore destructive and sinful. Sheikh Maher Hammoud, an eloquent, fiery Lebanese Sunni cleric aligned with Hizbullah, famously said, “If you want Arabs to fight ‘Israel’, tell them ‘Israel’ converted to Shi’ism.” The same can be said for Nigeria.
Tell Muslims cut from the Salafi cloth that Muhammadhu Buhari is a “Rafidah” who is oppressing “Sunnis” and that Zakzaky is a disciple of Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab (L.A.), and just watch as the Takfiri purveyors of filth who had previously unleashed backwards barbarity on Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen make their way to Abuja in droves, especially when considering the hideously xenophobic attitudes many a Wahhabi have towards Africans and the prospect of killing Black people would take their bloodlust to obscene levels. Such is the utterly broken, upside-down world we live in.
And most tragic of all? Sheikh Zakzaky is a leading voice for Islamic unity worldwide and has helped end the British-colonialist-designed divides between Nigeria’s people, from Muslim and Christian to various ethnic groups. Indeed, it is the Lion of Zaria who represents Islam and all its love, light, warmth, beauty and truth, while the two-faced subversives who threw him to the wolves represent a mere shell of Islam which is nothing more than a tool for the enemies of humanity. “The Ummah” may have gone out to lunch and never returned on Zakzaky, but the Shi’a of Imam Ali (A.S.) and our comrades shall do no such thing. Never will Zio-Saudi fitnah render our tongues useless. Resounding will be our voices until the Sheikh is freed and justice, in the Husseini sense of the word, is achieved. #FreeZakzaky #LongLiveZakzaky #DeathToBuhari #DeathToSectarianism
