In a preview of her upcoming interview on RT’s “Going Underground” with Afshin Rattansi, Marzieh Hashemi revealed a terribly chilling and ominous detail about her detainment by the FBI. She noted that it was the presence of her son, who had been rerouted after she was picked up, which derailed potentially far worse and far more catastrophic circumstances. In her own words, “What I realized is how easy it is for them [the FBI; the American regime] to make someone disappear. If my son was not there, anything could have happened to me. No one would have known where I was and I’m just wondering how many people this happens to, Afshin.” This isn’t paranoia. This is an acknowledgement of the FBI’s history as a death squad masquerading as an upholder of “liberty” and “national security”. We reiterate a point from the first piece penned following Marzieh’s imprisonment: The FBI, in tandem with the forces of Global Zionism, murdered Fred Hampton (rip), Malcolm X (R.A.), Martin Luther King Jr. (rip), Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad (R.A.) and Malcolm Latif Shabazz (R.A.), to name just a few. Now we’d like to invoke a few more relevant individuals: Serena Shim (R.A.), Gary Webb (rip) and Danny Casolaro (rip), three journalists who thumbed their noses at the establishment and exposed some of the greatest crimes of the Zionist Imperium in history.
