As an Iraqi whose family comes from Kufa, and on behalf of all Iraqis who not only stand with Syria in word but also in deed and blood, I would like to sincerely and deeply apologize to all my Syrian brothers and sisters for the absolutely despicable new statement of Muqtada al-Sadr. What actually came out of his mouth is shocking… Simply shocking: “I think it would be fair for President Bashar al-Assad to offer his resignation and step down in love for Syria, to spare it the woes of war and terrorism and take a historic, heroic decision before it’s too late.” Not only is this asinine and traitorous, it is also patently false.
If Assad and the Syrian government as a whole were to step down from their posts–WHICH THEY WERE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED TO AND THUS SHOULDN’T HAVE TO STEP DOWN FOR ANYONE, NOT EMPIRE JUDAICA AND DAMN SURE NOT MUQTADA AL-SADR–it would NOT spare Syria from further woes but perpetuate these woes as nobody would fill the vacuum but the Takfiri terrorist barbarians who the American ZOG unleashed on Syria to begin with! Moreover, Assad’s self-ouster would not be an “act of love for Syria” nor “heroic” but an act of capitulation that would put millions of his countrymen at further risk; an act of betrayal vis-a-vis the Syrian Arab Army, the NDF and their allies; and especially, an act of supreme cowardice and a contradiction of Assad’s own declaration that he’ll fight for Syria ’till the end.
Truth be told, Al-Sadr has been on a downward spiral since abandoning the Iraqi Resistance to pursue studies in Qom which he never even finished. And considering his Peace Brigades (Saraya al-Salaam) have been absent from just about every single major battle against the Takfiri terrorist scourge in Iraq (and have been in nowheresville on Syria), he really should just keep his sideways-mouth closed and his two-faced comments to himself. Continuing on his current path not only brings dishonor to the Iraqi moujahideen who are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against ISIS and in preparation for liberating the Golan Heights, but also his martyred father Ayatollah Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr (R.A.), martyred uncle Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (R.A.) and his disappeared cousin Sayyed Moussa al-Sadr (may he be returned to us soon), all of whom stood with the Moustazafeen (oppressed ones) and firmly against all Zio-Imperialist aggressions no matter what.
Al-Sadr does not speak for Iraq, nor Iraqi public opinion, nor represent them. The righteous and dauntless moujahideen of Kata’ib Hizbullah, Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba and the Abou Fadhl al-Abbas (A.S.) Brigade do however. And Iraqis regionwide and worldwide will continue to stand with the Syrian Arab Republic and fight for the Syrian Arab Republic because our struggle is the same. As for Muqtada al-Sadr, a true disgrace to his family’s legacy? Well. As an Iraqi whose family comes from Kufa and who has been on the front lines of the information battlefield with my Syrian brethren from day one… I say that he can go straight to hell.
