(EDITOR’S NOTE: What this piece fails to mention is that Ibn Taymiyyah was a bigoted, dangerous, anti-Shi’a sectarian fanatic whose disturbing, grandiose visions of “wiping out the nonbelievers” were quite literally weaponized hundreds of years after his death by Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab, the founder of Wahhabi-Takfirism. Abdul-Wahhab, along with his benefactors the House of Saud, both had deep Kabbalistic-Jewish origins and it is this historical context that is constantly left out when discussing the Salafi-Takfiris of today and their role as the foot soldiers for Zion’s plot to balkanize and control the Arab and Islamic worlds. Moreover, we condemn the author’s statement that these (Takfiri-)Salafis “reject sectarianism” but there is a “troubling growth” in “anti-Shi’a sentiment”. What does this even mean? That Shi’a are not Muslims and therefore hatred of them does not constitute sectarianism? The assertion is deplorable and it reveals the author’s own Salafi-Wahhabi-Takfiri sympathies. Nevertheless, the article is a rather useful one as it not only makes clear that Salafi-Wahhabi-Takfirism has nothing to do with Sunni tradition, but it also exposes the way that the anachronistic Saudi regime’s tentacles are extended into Muslim communities worldwide. The Saudis’ financial incentives must be rejected, categorically, for Takfiri thought to eventually wither up and die.” ~ Jonathan Azaziah) Continue reading Chinese Salafism and the Saudi Connection
