Did Mossad Disappear Lebanese-Iranian Hero Sayyed Moussa al-Sadr On This Day 40 Years Ago?

by Jonathan Azaziah

The Lebanese-Iranian revolutionary hero Sayyed Moussa al-Sadr wasn’t just the founder of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance that would later become Hizbullah. He wasn’t merely a Brobdingnagian intellect who was brilliant enough to go toe-to-toe with the world’s greatest minds, both Islamic and non-Islamic, in the fields of fiqh, comparative religious studies, philosophy and international relations, and dumbfound them. Al-Sadr was an institution. Such a giant, it was like he had his own orbit. With an imposing physical presence, commanding charisma, love of humanity and passionate commitment to resistance and liberation, he gave the Shi’a Muslims of Lebanon a voice for the first time in hundreds of years and laid the groundwork for them to exit the degradation and squalor they had lived in at the hands of colonialist-backed factions for the same amount of time–first the Ottomans then the French.

But the Lebanese Shi’a weren’t the only ones who adored him. Christians did too. So did many Sunnis along with many Druze. He was a towering, unifying figure that exuded a familial energy, seeing all Lebanese as branches of the same tree, at a volatile time when the “civil war” engineered by the usurping Zionist entity was ripping Lebanon and its people apart. Beyond just being a mystery that turns 40 years old today, his disappearance is the greatest tragedy relating to an individual in modern Arab-Islamic history–one which burns and breaks the hearts of all who know it. Sayyed Nasrallah Gives Game-Changing Speech For Al-Quds Day, Says Hundreds Of Thousands Of Arab and Muslim Fighters Could Hit ‘Israel’ In Next War

by Jonathan Azaziah

International Al-Quds Day just wouldn’t be complete without a Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah speech! And what a speech it was! Speaking from Sayyed al-Shouhada Complex in Dahiyeh, the saintly leader of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance gave us one for the ages in honor of the annual event for Palestine and Al-Quds set up by Imam Khomeini (R.A.) 38 years ago. Sayyed Abou Hadi was his usual fiery and eloquent self of course, stomping mudholes in Saudi Arabia for deepening its ties with the Zionist enemy as well as its baseless and idiotic threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran. As expected, he saluted the steadfast Yemeni nation for its militant and principled opposition to Zionism and its efforts to mobilize for Al-Quds, emphatically declaring, “Yemen proved that it will never be part of the scheme to sell out Palestine, neither for a throne, nor Trump. It is still fighting and will continue fighting until the end.” Continue reading Sayyed Nasrallah Gives Game-Changing Speech For Al-Quds Day, Says Hundreds Of Thousands Of Arab and Muslim Fighters Could Hit ‘Israel’ In Next War

Muqtada Al-Sadr’s Traitorous Statement On President Assad Does Not Represent Iraq or Iraqis

by Jonathan Azaziah

As an Iraqi whose family comes from Kufa, and on behalf of all Iraqis who not only stand with Syria in word but also in deed and blood, I would like to sincerely and deeply apologize to all my Syrian brothers and sisters for the absolutely despicable new statement of Muqtada al-Sadr. What actually came out of his mouth is shocking… Simply shocking: “I think it would be fair for President Bashar al-Assad to offer his resignation and step down in love for Syria, to spare it the woes of war and terrorism and take a historic, heroic decision before it’s too late.” Not only is this asinine and traitorous, it is also patently false.
