The Mighty Moujahideen of Ansarullah really know how to put smiles on the faces of the oppressed, don’t they? Just hours before Donald J. Trump’s arrival in the Saudi Kingdom of Terrorism, where he signed the biggest arms deal in history at $460 billion with full-on Zionist approval, the Yemeni Islamic Resistance fired two Burqan-2 ballistic missiles into “Saudi” territory–one that downed a Wahhabi regime warplane over historically-Yemeni Najran and another one, the true glory of the day, right at the Saudi capital of Riyadh. Message from the Houthiyeen to the Tangerine Terrorist and his butcherous Wahhabi partners couldn’t have been anymore direct: You may bomb us and you may starve us, you may blockade us and you may infect us with cholera, but our missiles CAN REACH YOU and WILL REACH YOU regardless of your aggression, for we are a people who never heard of the word “kneel” let alone know its meaning. Furthermore, the shenanigans of this circus clown in presidential garb and his Chabadnik Jewish supremacist children upon their entry into Al-Saud’s ostentatious dwellings weren’t lost on Ansarullah and the Yemeni people. Indeed, the sons and daughters of Saba did not find any of it even the least bit amusing. Senior Ansarullah Commander Muhammad Ali al-Houthi is a blessing and the very embodiment of humbleness. Here we have a man who spent his entire life on the battlefield protecting his brethren from regime repression in northern Yemen, playing a major tactical and organizational role in every victory achieved by Ansarullah in the six wars with the dictatorship between 2004 and 2010, not to mention the routing of US-Saudi-backed Al-Islah (the Yemeni chapter of the “Muslim” Brotherhood) in the summer of 2014, but when asked to lead the Yemeni Revolutionary Committee–a transitional, post-revolution political body–because of his brilliant strategic mind and keen ability to analyze critical geopolitical situations, he accepted the role in spite of how much it pained him to leave his brothers still engaged in firefights all over the nation. Subsequently, after guiding the Yemeni people and their Resistance through an 18-month period of instability and then of course the Saudi-imposed aggression, he willfully and gracefully steps down from his post as de facto ruler of Yemen, thus ceding power to the newly, democratically formed Supreme Political Council which will govern Yemen’s affairs from this point forward. And what does the man do after that? He returns to the front lines of the struggle, once again putting his life on the line to safeguard his people from the Wahhabi Kingdom of Darkness. Verily, that kind of selflessness is rarer than alexandrite; that kind of love of country blings brighter than even the most splendiferous Yemeni Agate. The Houthis’ first step toward governing Yemen seems like a necessary option imposed on Ansarullah due to the failure of Yemeni parties, following days of intensive talks, to reach a solution to the political crisis and fill the power vacuum created by the resignation of the president and his government under external pressure.
After months of gaining ground throughout Yemen’s provinces, Ansarullah (the Houthis) has translated its progress into clear political gains. The Houthis have now taken control of the government, yet without assuming power themselves, and will oversee a two-year transitional phase through a “constitutional declaration.” The declaration was made in a large ceremony at the Yemeni presidential palace.
