It’s Official! “Eternally Husseini” Is Finished And Will Drop On May 25th, 2017!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

“Eternally Husseini” is offically recorded in its entirety! I’m done! Alhamdulillah ya Rab! And so, as the mixing and mastering process now begins, I’d like to announce the ironclad release date for the album: May 25th, 2017, Resistance and Liberation Day. Yes, Iron Galaxy and I picked this holy and historic occasion for the day we drop our record because just as Hizbullah liberated Lebanon from a 22-year Zionist occupation and killed ‘Greater Israel’ dead, we hope these 15 tracks will not only raise further awareness among our ranks, but also set off a chain reaction which will birth an Anti-Parasitic Hip-Hop movement determined to free our music and culture from Jewish/Corporate domination. I’ll be releasing individual promo pieces of each one of the revolutionary figures you see here (and a few other surprises) at least once a week until “Eternally Husseini” drops. I would be under-selling the living daylights out of it if I just tell you that the record is dope, that it’s just fly as skies set ablaze or that it’s just ill as hospitals with a dire medicine shortage. It’s next-level all the way around and y’all are gonna flip like acrobats on angeldust when you hear it. TRUST. “Eternally Husseini” Update: Recording Process Near Completion And More Mouqawamah Music To Come!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Your man is on fire. Or better still–FREEZER BURN. For a good while now, I’ve been hard at work in the studio, putting the finishing touches on a lot of important and powerful music that is going to be dropped imminently. And over the last ten days especially, I’ve just been STEAMROLLING–like Hizbullah in future operations in the Galilee. Banged out my verses for my fam from another ma’am Shan51’s upcoming and soon-to-be-labeled classic album, “From Darkness Came Light”. I’m featured on two joints, “Spitfire Sages” and “Monsoon Revolution” (which is a particularly big honor because we’ll be joined by Pyrit, Phaze and the legendary Canibus). And I’ve also been BLAZING through the remaining tracks on my own upcoming record “Eternally Husseini”, knocking out 5 of the remaining 9 joints. I’ve laced up “Labaykah Ya Muhammad (S.A.W.W.)” (an ode to our Noble Prophet), “We Love You Mahmoud!” (an ode to Ahmadinejad), “We Are One Hand” (an Iraqi unity anthem), “Ahlul Iblis” (an intense, rage-filled lyrical tirade against the Takfiri terrorist filth) and “Hidden Hands of Entropy” (a storm of a joint about the Armenian Genocide). The moment I’m done recording, which should be at the end of this coming week, I will announce the official release date of the album, so STAY TUNED! I also have a remix for my gifted brethren Anuragi’s remarkable song “Aazadi”–Striking Star Salute to my beloved brother Abbas Shamael Rizvi who did the amazing video for the joint–on deck, just wait ’till y’all hear it! And lastly… A song that is simultaneously very dear and very gut-wrenching to me, “They Will Never Take Us Alive”, a tribute to my martyred friend Ghassan al-Husseini who lost his life last year in a Saudi air strike on Saada, is nearly ready to go and I am aching to share it. I will not be on social media as much as I race to the finish line on each of these projects so please forgive me in advance for missing any of your posts and updates as well as any delays in responding to messages. All my love to y’all. FTJ, DTI, DTS, ZMF, Islam. #EternallyHusseiniComingSoon #MaddCold #HipHopHizbullah

Palestinian Activist-MC Mabous48’s 30-Track “Sum Power 4 Da Masses” Is A Hip-Hop Masterpiece

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

If you love Palestine and you love Hip-Hop, then what you need to do is go cop my dearest brother from another mother Ali Mabous’s new album “Sum Power 4 Da Masses”. Sometimes dark and sometimes beautiful, sometimes poetic and sometimes raw, but always, always, ALWAYS dope beyond measure, my beloved dun effortlessly delivers a 30-track masterpiece and his best work to date. The son of martyred Palestinian Resistance legend Muhammad Abbas (aka Abou Abbas) and an artist-activist of the utmost ability and passion, Mabous48’s story ***MUST*** be heard and should be cherished by anyone and everyone who considers himself (or herself) Mouqawamist-minded. I was (and am) so happy to be part of this gorgeous release, on the 21st joint, “Power Of Language (Language Is War),” and it is definitely one of the highlights of the record. My other personal favorites are “Power Trippin'”, “Tales of Power”, “Hip-Hop and I”, “Universal Movement”, “Mabous Da Masses” and “Pure Power” which features Hip-Hop legend Canibus. Mabous, habibi, you should be beyond proud of yourself for this project… It ain’t just your magnum opus but a gem and a half. From Iraq to Falasteen, Brooklyn to Montreal, Striking Star Salute and keep ’em coming!!

A Hip-Hop Hizbullah: Islamic Revolution International Center Interviews Jonathan Azaziah About Life, Music and Counter-Hegemony

Introduction (by Jonathan Azaziah): Jummah Mubarak! Been meaning to share this with y’all for a good while. Back in October, I had the honor and blessing of being interviewed by the Islamic Revolution International Center, a zine/think tank run by revolutionary Iranian students. We talked a little bit about where I came from and what drove me to become an MC; the origins of Islamophobia; Zionist control of the music industry; the fight to overthrow World Zionism’s system of hegemony; and the definition and aims of Mouqawamah Music. As a Khomeiniist, this meant a great deal to me and I pray all of you, my dear comrades, enjoy the read. I have to thank brother Abdullah Mohamadi for the beautiful opportunity and in these arduous times, I also want to once again extend all my love and solidarity to the resistant Islamic Republic of Iran and its most wonderful people.

***Just a quick note regarding the title: “Hip-Hop Hizbullah”, which I mention in the interview, is a lyric from my song “The Liberators“, featuring my beloved brother Khanverse KV, off my 2015 album “Son of Kufa Vol. 1: Rise Of The Anomaly”. With the subject matter at hand, I consider it most apt 😀 ***

Islamic Revolution International Center: Can you give us a brief bio of yourself?

Jonathan Azaziah: My name is Jonathan Azaziah–which is Arabic for “powerful light”–and am known on the mic as Madd Cold, a moniker I earned because of the harsh truths I would spit whilst rap-battling in the streets of Brooklyn (or Iraqlyn as I like to call it), New York City, where I was born and raised. I am 29 years old and am the son of an Iraqi father and a Moroccan-Russian mother. DTI (Death to ‘Israel’!) is my motto, “Ya Hussein (A.S.)!” is my battlecry, Mesopotamia is my soul, Palestine is my compass and Yemen is my heart! Don’t have anything else on my mind 24 hours a day except playing my part in the liberation of our people from the clutches of World Arrogance. “See You At The Citadel”, Victory Song For Aleppo, Is Now Out!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Staying true to my promise comrades, especially all my Syrian brothers and sisters, “See You At The Citadel”, the victory track for Aleppo, is here.

Song, dance, music and art are as integral to life in Aleppo as its region-renowned hospitals and universities. For over 8,000 years, Aleppo has been at the forefront of civilization, making it one of the oldest and most continuously populated cities in the world. And standing right in the heart of this illustrious history is the Citadel of Aleppo–the proverbial and literal treasure of the city. So when the Syrian Arab Army, Hizbullah and their allies drove out the remaining terrorists from Aleppo’s Old City and planted the Syrian Arab Republic’s flag atop the Citadel, it was an iconic moment to be remembered for all-time and a victory of ancient culture over a barbarism which is antithetical to everything in existence. It was in this triumph that I found myself swept up in and transported to the front lines of liberation, like I was right there. It was in this glory that “See You At The Citadel” came to me. I’ve written many pieces about Aleppo since the defeat of Zionist-NATO-GCC-backed Al-Qaeda began, but it wasn’t enough. I needed to put it into rhyme. And as Intifada Street’s Mohammad Hamza, who did the extraordinary artwork for this song, will tell you, once the concept for “See You At The Citadel” entered my brain, the joint flowed outta me like light from the giant Christmas Tree is currently flowing out into the streets of Aleppo’s Azaziyah district. For three minutes and thirty seconds, I pour my heart and soul out for Halab. Because Halab and its defenders have poured their hearts and souls out for the world. I take y’all to the Aleppo Citadel because the Aleppo Citadel is the starting point for all history from this day forward. This is for my dear brother Aloushy al-Homsi, who has family in the Syrian Arab Army and the NDF on the battlefield in Aleppo and Hama. This is for the Syrian Arab Republic and its steadfast people, for whom books on how to obliterate empires will be written. Before that though… Rock with me at the Citadel under Liberated Aleppo’s clear skies! Let it blaze. Let it rage. Let it knock. #AleppoVictory #LongLiveAleppo #LongLiveSyria #SeeYouAtTheCitadel

“See You At The Citadel” lyrics

by Madd Cold (Jonathan Azaziah)

Five years of war and violent terror/But now we mark an end to the Zionist era/Church bells boom and the adhan too inside the Great Mosque/All that pain and, all that weight, it’s time to shake off/They wanted Bashar al-Assad gone and the scheme was heavy/But here in Aleppo, here in Aleppo Empire Judaica’s dreams were buried/Erdogan won’t see his Ottomans resurrected/Syria cannot and will not die, you can consider that Heaven’s message/Thought you’d break it, thought you’d take it into oblivion, leaving it torn and wasted but Syria, Syria, rose like a Rose from the endless wreckage/Jasmine in the air, imagine that it’s here, liberation, jubilation on the beautiful, musical, soothing faces of all these innocents who feast their eyes on the Syrian Army/They don’t look at them weary, leery or dodgy/Zionist media called them “thugs” and called them a “regime”/But listen now, all of it was sleaze/These men are protectors, defenders, they’re guardians and they’re pure and they’re pristine/Civilians did not run from them, they ran towards them, then they threw sweets at their cheeks to bless/Aleppo is reunified, ain’t no more damn East or West/Oded Yinon’s partition plot has been defeated and beat to death/Parents and gramses and grampses gaze upon their babies who are now full-grown soldiers of Jaysh al-Souri/Husbands reconnect with their wives, friends embrace and the separation breaks down, it is the greatest beauty/Their tears flow and I feel so emotional, humbled just to witness it, their sacrifices quake and move me/Look at these heroes, look at these legends/Fought nonstop for half a decade, to ensure that the crooks would be deaded/The horizon is gorgeous, go right on and look where we’re heading/Zionist entity disintegrates, squatters so shook that the seven/galaxies from 1,003 light years away, from the Milky Way, are trembling from ‘Israeli’ fear/Lame “Emir” in Qatar is having conniptions, Saudi “princes” are suicidally tripping, the end of this filth as well is crazy near/And it’s all ‘cause of Syria, Jews cried out, “Capital next!”/But these arrogant ones got stabbed in the chest/by Syrian steadfastness, which did not budge even under rabid duress/Resistance Axis intervened to fight the conspiracy off and blasted the neck/We’re one hand, our people took down the savages, yes!/Terrorists from 100 countries around the globe/Backed to the hilt by NATO, but Syria resisted, that is powerful/And lest we forget, there’d be no win if it wasn’t for the astutest brothers/Angelic Hizbullah, of Lebanon, the Iraqi Resistance, Mighty Iran and Putin’s Russia/Enemies said Syria was alone, yo, these stupid fuckers/Death to the Five Eyes Alliance/and Global Zionism, that Hive-Minded Virus/Aleppo is free! Admit it, you failed to sideline defiance/Flag of the Syrian Arab Republic flies sublime, and it shines high in vibrance/Lemme put my fist in the sky, then make the victory sign/Lemme put my fist in the sky, then make the victory sign/Takfiriyeen, you’re feeble and you’re pitiful/your “revolution” was liquidated, Aleppo is free, people, it’s a miracle!/Long live Halab, See You At The Citadel/Long Live Aleppo, Long Live Aleppo/Long Live Aleppo, you prevailed over The Devils/Long Live Halab, Long Live Halab/Long Live Halab, Martyrs of Mouqawamah, soar in Jannah/See You At The Citadel…

“Silence On The Sheikh”, Final Single Off “Eternally Husseini”, Is Now Out!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

On this day one year ago, the brutal Nigerian army unleashed complete and utter hell on the Husseiniyah Baqiyatullah in Zaria, home to Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky and the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN). Hundreds (possibly thousands) of Shi’a Muslims were murdered in the barbaric massacre, hundreds more were disappeared, at least 50 young women were kidnapped and the Sheikh himself, along with his wife, were thrown into prison on baseless charges. The American regime, the usurping Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia all had hands in the nightmarish crime. And to this very day, in spite of the Anti-Zionist, Anti-Imperialist identity of the IMN and the stature of Sheikh Zakzaky as Africa’s most formidable revolutionary and the world’s most prolific disseminator of the Deen on Earth–he’s brought between 5-10 million humans to Shi’a Islam in the last 37 years–“Palestine Solidarity Movement” activists and “The Ummah” at large have forgotten that ALLAH (SWT) gifted them with tongues. Masterpiece: Anuragi’s “Aazadi” Could Be The Anthem For The Entire Southeast Asia Subcontinent

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Every so often, there is a song that comes along that transcends the boundaries of genre, culture, nationality, language and creed. It just vibrates on that frequency of justice and resonates with all people from all backgrounds who have experienced oppression in one form of another. Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” comes to mind, as does Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five’s “The Message”, Peter Tosh’s ” No Nuclear War”, Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power”, Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” and “Earth Song”, Tupac Shakur’s “Changes”, and, in this era of Zionist hegemony, my own “Death To ‘Israel'”. It’s time to add Anuragi’s “Aazadi” to the list, preferably towards the very top. This exceptionally gorgeous piece of music, from the spine-tingling sound filled with mean guitar riffs and an infectious melody to the incandescently inspiring lyrics, is nothing less than a masterpiece. RIP To Anti-Zionist, Anti-Imperialist, Anti-Jewish-Supremacist Legend Michael Collins Piper

by Jonathan Azaziah

The man, the giant, the legend Michael Collins Piper would have turned 56 yesterday. He was my friend, my teacher, my brother, my mentor, and, hands down, the greatest, most prolific Anti-Zionist, Anti-Imperialist, Anti-Jewish-Supremacist writer in American history. His catalogue is, by far, bar none, unparalleled in the field and his writings were both jam-packed with information that you wouldn’t be (and still aren’t) able to find anywhere else as well as entertaining as all hell. He went places no writer and/or journalist would go, said things that they’d never be caught dead saying and challenged the Yahoudling power structure like no other. From his exposé of the neocons long before Mearsheimer and Walt, to his breakdown of JFK’s murder being a Mossad op from soup to nuts, to his ruthless deconstruction of the Rothschilds’ stranglehold over the globe, to his masterful demolition of the very lexicon the Zionist Power Configuration uses to control the way we speak, MCP was a spring of Haqq that never, EVER stopped flowing and nourishing. Truly, his knowledge was a force no Jew dared reckon with, hence why they chose to smear him through their ADL and SPLC attack dogs instead. If you’ve never read him, well, simply put, you don’t know a damn thing about politics in the land run by the American ZOG or international affairs in general. You really don’t. Thus, if you want to know, get yourself acquainted with the man NOW. Continue reading RIP To Anti-Zionist, Anti-Imperialist, Anti-Jewish-Supremacist Legend Michael Collins Piper

On Malcolm X’s (R.A.) Birthday, Y’all Need Rafiqi Green’s “X-Minded” In Your Life

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

For the Muslims of the world’s slums, ghettoes, projects, barrios, gutters, broken-down, working-class, low-income homes and dregs of all other sorts most especially, there is no greater inspiration than Malcolm X (R.A.), hands down. But surely, ANY Muslim from ANY walk of life and any NON-MUSLIM from ANY walk of life who is an acolyte of truth loves the man once known as Malcolm Little. Don’t matter if you’re African-American from Chicago, Iraqi Arab from Brooklyn, Afghan from Somerset, Irish from Boston, Italian from Philly, Liberian from Staten Island, Latino from LA, Lebanese Arab from Dearborn, Iranian from Houston, Palestinian Arab from Montreal, Pakistani from London, Ghanian from Acca, Syrian from Miami, Chechen from Moscow, and it goes on and on, we all draw hope and strength from this incredible human being who went from block-mainstay, hustler and inmate to the most influential revolutionary the Western world has ever known and one of the most important moujahideen ever in global history. And while El-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz is gone, taken from those who adored him by the FBI and the ADL way before his time–he’d be 91 today–the words, speeches, teachings and deeds he left behind have created a congregation of brothers and sisters walking his path and continuing his battle.

One such soldier, a massively gifted brother with a face full of Nour who is absolutely ridiculous on the mic-phone, is Rafiqi Green. Continue reading On Malcolm X’s (R.A.) Birthday, Y’all Need Rafiqi Green’s “X-Minded” In Your Life

The Hip-Hop Nakba: Just Like Palestine, Our Culture Needs Liberation From Its Jewish Occupiers

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

It’s about to get madd politically incorrect up in this muhfucka, so stop reading right now if you’re with that bullshit. On this 68th Nakba Day, I am oddly– or maybe not so oddly at all considering the context–thinking about the Nakba in Hip-Hop. Indeed our culture of Beats, Rhymes and Life is just as colonized as Palestine on both the cultural and political levels. My younger brother Jared Azaziah aka super-producer Dark Night sent me a video just last week of all-time great MC Joe Budden, the most personal and emotionally honest MC ever, speaking in no uncertain terms that the entire rap industry is not controlled by those personalities and figureheads that you see on the surface but an “underworld of Jewish bosses above them that we never see”.
