Happy 82nd Birthday To Shahida Bint al-Houda, Sayyeda Amina Haydar al-Sadr (R.A.): A Manifestation Of Lady Zaynab (A.S.) For The Ages

by Jonathan Azaziah

No Martyrs Gallery. No Pantheon of Heroes. No Fortress of Legends. And no Hall of Revolutionaries would be complete without Sayyeda Amina Haydar al-Sadr (R.A.), known to many as Shahida Bint al-Houda. She was born on this day 82 years ago in the holy Iraqi city of Kazimiyeh, under the illuminated minarets of the shrine of her great ancestor Imam Moussa al-Kazim (A.S.), where she would visit often in her adult days to pray and meditate. She was named after the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.W.) mother because her father, Ayatollah Sayyed Haydar al-Sadr (R.A.), a profound Islamic authority and one of the intellectual architects of the 1920 Great Iraqi Revolution of 1920 against the British colonizers, intended for her to be a mother of a pivotal movement–man, was he right! He died when she was only two years old.

It was her mother Umm Isma’il (R.A.), the daughter of Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Rida al-Yassin (R.A.), and her brother, Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (R.A.), the “twin of her soul” as she called him and Iraq’s greatest Martyr in the modern age, who would teach her the religion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) from the moment their father passed. She was incandescently bright and showed an otherworldly talent for writing–which only expanded as she got older–along with abyssal Islamic insight. She loved to read as well, drawing on the commandment of Rasoulallah (S.A.W.W.) to read and deepen the knowledge-well at every turn. The little bit of pocket money that she was allotted every month was spent on books.

‘Israel’ Hit Damascus On Christmas Out Of Christ-Hatred, Now It Has Bombed Damascus On Zaynab’s (A.S.) Birthday Out Of Islam-Hatred

by Jonathan Azaziah

‘Israel’ actively finds ways to increase its filth. I mean… Just when you thought it had located the bottom of the depravity-abyss, it demonically innovates to keep sinking lower and lower to depths even more depraved than previously imagined. It wasn’t enough that the bastards of Zion bombed Damascus on Christmas a couple weeks ago. While the Syrian Arab Army was hit in the illegal air raid, cowardly launched from Lebanon to avoid Syrian and Russian air defenses, it was perplexing to the overwhelming majority of analysts as there wasn’t any militarily strategic reasoning behind it. That’s because it wasn’t military but ideological. ‘Israel’ bombed Damascus as millions of innocents were celebrating Christmas for the first time without Takfiri terrorism in their city in 7 years because it hates Christ (A.S.) That’s it. Opposition to the Messiahship of Jesus (A.S.) is foundational to Judaic-Zionist thought.

And the Jewish terrorist leadership all the way up to Netanyahu, furious about their humiliation in Syria, thought what better way to inflict horror on Syrians and stick it to the guy who fought the Zionists’ predecessors, the Pharisees, 2,000 years ago on top of it, than raining bombs on their parade. Hatred of Christ (A.S.) factors into multiple elements of Jewish everyday life, from religious praxis to Hollywood. It’s the central motivation behind the Jewish domination of the pornography industry also. Well. Now the Zionists have gone ahead and bombed Damascus yet again and on yet another high, holy day, only this time it’s for Muslims: The birthday of Sayyeda Zaynab al-Kubra (A.S.), revered by massive swathes of the Ummah, especially Shi’a, and there were a large number of pilgrims at her shrine in the Syrian capital celebrating and praying right around the time ‘Israel’ carried out its latest aggression.

Lady Of Mouqawamah, Lady of Haqq: Happy 1,393rd Birthday To Sayyeda Zaynab al-Kubra (A.S)

by Jonathan Azaziah

If you want to know the embodiment of Ezzedine; the personification of principled; the representation of resistant; the manifestation of might; the typification of towering; the symbolization of strength and the illustration of incandescent, then we shall tell you HER name: Sayyeda Zaynab al-Kubra (A.S.), the granddaughter of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.), the daughter of Imam Ali (A.S.) and Lady Fatima (A.S.), and the sister of Imam Hassan (A.S.) and Imam Hussein (A.S.) The Heroine of Karbala. The Dame of Dauntlessness and the Dame of Defiance. The Matriarch of Mumana’a and the Brilliant Brightness of Banu Hashim. Today is her 1,393rd birthday and there aren’t enough wishes in the 14 centuries that have passed since the love of the Zahra (A.S.) and Haydar al-Karrar (A.S.) culminated in her being that we can send upon her. Nor are there enough words in all the world’s languages and dialects for us to express how proud we are to be at her service. The Mother of Mouqawamists, she isn’t just the revolutionary woman of revolutionary women. She’s the revolutionary of revolutionaries, PERIOD. Not the warrioress of warrioresses. But the warrior of warriors, PERIOD. And not just the lioness of lionesses and the tigress of tigresses, but the lion of lions and the tiger of tigers, PERIOD. Lady Zaynab (A.S.) isn’t just an individual. She’s the transhistorical, living, transcendental spirit of revolution.

Arbaeen Isn’t Merely A “Religious Gathering”, It’s A Revolutionary Affirmation Of Counter-Hegemony

by Jonathan Azaziah

With 30 million Husseinis converging on Iraq’s holy city of Karbala for Arbaeen 2018, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s sharp words about the event come to mind, “The march for Arbaeen is like a soft war that splits the enemy from the inside without firing a bullet.” The Imam of the Islamic Revolution couldn’t be more correct. Arbaeen isn’t merely a religious gathering–and the largest one in the world at that–which marks 40 days of mourning following the paradoxical tragedy and triumph of Ashoura. It’s a revolutionary affirmation of counter-hegemony, anti-terrorism, Anti-Zionism, Anti-Parasitism, Anti-Imperialism, Anti-Takfirism and counter-hasbara. It’s an impregnable defense of Islam and a reminder to the various tentacles of World Arrogance that the lovers of Imam Hussein (A.S.) and the defenders of the Pure Household (A.S.) that he’s the beating heart of shall not be kept from him. Not now. Not ever.

Mukhtar al-Thaqafi (R.A.): The Spring of Righteous Vengeance Who Brought Honor To Imam Hussein (A.S.) And Crushed His Killers

by Jonathan Azaziah

My uncle Ishaq-Hussein Azaziah (R.A.) told me many a time before ‘Israel’ gunned him down in cold blood that there are two Kufas: The one which betrayed Imam Hussein (A.S.) to the tyrannical terrorist Yazid (L.A.) in 61 A.H. and the one which avenged Imam Hussein (A.S.) in grandiose revolutionary fashion in 66-67 A.H. The latter was led by the hero of heroes and the blade of blades, Mukhtar al-Thaqafi (R.A.) And the reflection period between Ashoura and Arbaeen wouldn’t be complete without the remembrance of his unbridled and glorious rebellion, which not only saw an uprising against despotism in the name of the one, true, Muhammadi-Husseini Islam but also the pursuit of the psychopathic perpetrators of the massacre on Ashoura.

Imam Ali (A.S.), in Saying 324 of Nahjul Balagha, wrote, “Throw a stone in return from where one comes to you because [there are times that] evil can only be met with evil.” Mukhtar al-Thaqafi (R.A.) took this to heart and pursued the manglers and stranglers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) to the proverbial ends of the earth. The Commander of Commanders appointed Ibrahim al-Ashtar (R.A.), the son of Imam Ali’s (A.S.) right hand Malik al-Ashtar (R.A.), as his own vicegerent. A most fitting selection. Matriarch and Mother of Mouqawamah Finally Joins Her Sons: Rest In Glory To Umm Imad, Hajjeh Amina Salameh (R.A.)

by Jonathan Azaziah

Hajjeh Amina Salameh (R.A.) Umm Imad Mughniyeh. The Matriarch of Mouqawamah. The Mother of Victories and Mother of Martyrs. From her womb, emerged an undefeated nation. Through her hands, the greatest moujahideen since the time of Rasoulallah (S.A.W.W.) were nurtured, raised and sculpted into the architects of triumph; the builders of buildings that rest on a foundation of eternal freedom. Through her words, a special soul, Hajj Redwan (R.A.), was inspired to be the champion Islam required and constructed the School of Fighting used by the Lebanese Islamic Resistance of Hizbullah to this day and hated by the enemies of humanity across the globe. It began with Hajjeh Amina. No woman in the whole of the Ummah apart from Sayyeda Zeenat Zakzaky has sacrificed more in the fight against Zio-Imperialism. Early yesterday, she was finally called home by ALLAH (SWT) to be with her sons and her grandson in a palace in the Akhira so awe-inspiring that very few in all of Islamic history, male or female, revolutionary or aesthetic, can claim a station as high. She was 80 years old.

The 1305th Martyrdom Anniversary Of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (A.S.): Time To Remember Him As A Pioneer of Resistance

by Jonathan Azaziah

We mourn today. But we also reflect and give thanks for the immortal gift we’ve been given in Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), specifically the 4th Imam, Ali Ibn Hussein (A.S.), aka Zayn al-Abideen, aka Imam Sajjad, who was martyred on this day 1,305 years ago. The Umayyad tyrant of the time, Al-Walid ibn Abdul Malik (L.A.), a man who hated the Household of Rasoulallah (S.A.W.W.) more than his father Abdul Malik ibn Marwan (L.A.) and maybe even more than Yazid (L.A.), couldn’t bear to live in a world with the Imam (A.S.) breathing the same air that he breathed, declaring, “I cannot rest as long as Ali ibn Hussein is in this world!” So he ordered Uthman ibn Hayyan al-Murri (L.A.), the ruthless Governor of Medina, to have the son of Sayyed al-Shouhada (A.S.) poisoned. But we prefer not to dwell on the tragical end of Imam Sajjad’s (A.S.) life, as he, like his father, knew that martyrdom was his fate and he embraced it with a clear heart.

So instead, we’d rather focus on Imam Zayn al-Abideen’s (A.S.) Mouqawamah, his words which were as akin to precious gemstones as those of Muhammad al-Moustafa (S.A.W.W.) and Imam Ali (A.S.) themselves, and his prayers, which were of such astonishing exquisiteness and brightness that the songs of Angels (A.S.) could be composed from them and stars could be eclipsed by them. Indeed, what Al-Sajjad (A.S.) taught us is that words… Matter. Words… Can topple tyranny. Words… Can remake the machinery of history in mid-production for the Moustakbireen and send it in a completely different direction on behalf of the Moustazafeen. Muharram From Occupied Kashmir: The Way Of Imam Hussein (A.S.) Is The Way To Azadi

by Jonathan Azaziah

We mourn this month for Imam Hussein and the Karbala 72, the peace, blessings and mercy of ALLAH (SWT) be upon them for eternity, recalling tragic heroes like Abdullah ibn Omayr Abou Wahab al-Kalbi, the Christian-turned-Muslim who was dismembered and beheaded after single-handedly killing dozens of Yazid’s (L.A.) mercenaries; Habib ibn Madhahir al-Assadi, the elderly warrior who led the Imam’s (A.S.) left flank and stayed by his side until martyrdom; Zuhayr ibn Qayn al-Bajali, a man who at first didn’t even want to speak to Aba Abdallah (A.S.), then wound up one of his fiercest defenders and the leader of his left flank as he divorced his own wife to fight with him on the Iraqi plains before being speared to death by Shimr’s (L.A.) savages; and many, many others. Zionist-Phalangist Slaughter Of 3,500 Palestinians And Lebanese Shi’a At Sabra & Shatilah 36 Years Ago Invokes The Memory of Ashoura

by Jonathan Azaziah

Sabra and Shatilah Day. Very few sections of the calendar are associated with such sadness and savagery.

First though, a momentary flashback. When the Jewish terrorists who would found the artificial ‘Israeli’ regime began Plan D, i.e. the ethnic cleansing of Palestine aka the Nakba, there were a series of massacres they perpetrated that defied the parameters of humanity and reminded the world that Satan walks the Earth in human form. For Palestine itself, there was Deir Yassin, executed by the Stern and Irgun gangs, as well Dueima, carried out by the Haganah, in which upwards of 100 Palestinians were slaughtered, including children who were beaten dead with sticks and mothers and fathers who were pushed into their homes, locked in and dynamited.

For Lebanon, there’s Salha, where bloodthirsty Jewish colonizers marched 105 Lebanese men, women and children into the village’s small masjid and didn’t stop shooting until everyone was dead, along with Houla, where Jews burned 85 Lebanese civilians alive and ethnically cleansed nearly 11,000 Lebanese from their lands. In modern times, we think of the barbarity displayed in Jenin during the Second Intifada as well as Operation Cast Lead in 2008-2009 and Operation Mighty Cliff in the summer of 2014.

Yet nothing in the history of the usurping Zionist entity compares to the slaughter at aforementioned Sabra and Shatila which began on this day 36 years ago and ended on September 18th. The fanatical and hateful Phalangists, armed to the teeth, financed, trained and logistically supported by ‘Israel’, monstrously and sadistically slaughtered around 3,500 Palestinians and Lebanese Shi’a for 72 hours, engaging in the kind of debauched killing that you’d think only existed in horror movies. Pregnant women with their babies cut out of their stomachs. Men were sliced with knives from their genitals to their throats. Children had their skulls cracked wide open. Corpses were mutilated. Zaria Is Karbala: Sheikh Zakzaky, Now Unjustly Imprisoned For 33 Months, Embodies The Spirit Of Muharram

by Jonathan Azaziah

It is fitting that holy and somber Muharram comes just as we hit month 33–it is beyond an abomination of humanity that it has gone on this long–of Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky’s unjust and entirely punitive imprisonment by the Nigerian ZOG. Along with thirsty and besieged Yemen and Gaza, there isn’t a place in the world that so similarly resembles Karbala on Ashoura more than the Nigerian Shi’a heartland of Zaria and there is no man whose sacrifices are so closely akin to those of Imam Hussein’s (A.S.) than the Islamic Movement of Nigeria’s saintly leader. When we flashback to the Nigerian military’s savage and psychopathic attack against the innocents of the Husseiniyyah Baqiyatullah on December 12th-14th, 2015, in which over 1,000 Nigerian Shi’a were slaughtered, the 10th of Muharram in the year 680 becomes as vivid as if it was happening again right here… Right now… Right in front of your face.
