The Quintessential Ashoura Anthem Is Here: “Blood Of The Lion”, Second Single Off “Eternally Husseini”

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Salutations brothers and sisters! On this most revolutionary day, this most magnificent occasion, this 1,336th Ashoura when blood triumphed over the sword–to borrow the expression of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah–and Imam Hussein (A.S.) as well as his partisans achieved martyrdom at the hands of the vile Yazid (L.A.) on the hallowed ground of Karbala, I present to y’all my soul on wax; my beating, bleeding heart in lyrical form; an ode to Abou Abdallah (A.S.) to end all odes: “Blood Of The Lion”, the second single off my upcoming album “Eternally Husseini”, produced entirely by my extra-exceptionally gifted dear brother Iron Galaxy and filled with the illustrious artwork of Intifada Street founder Mohammad Hamza. This song–which is more like a Hip-Hop Nasheed than a traditional grouping of bars and hooks–doesn’t merely encapsulate the pain of the 10th of Muharram and apply that agony to the difficulties we are warding off today as an Ummah generally and as Shi’at al-Hussein specifically, it bangs like Hizbullah rocketry crashing down on occupied Haifa and making the settlers run for their miserable lives! Imam Hussein’s (A.S.) Spirit Lives In Yemen: Hundreds Of Thousands Slam Saudi Funeral Massacre

by Jonathan Azaziah

The Yemeni people make extraordinary look ordinary and otherworldly look worldly. They really are that astonishing and truly that brave. To see them out on the blocks of the Yemeni capital in their hundreds of thousands to slam Al-Saud’s massacre of at least 458 innocents at a funeral on those very same Sanaa streets just 24 hours earlier, is not only a reminder of how fantastically defiant they are, nor merely how immeasurably resilient, but how intrinsically Husseini first and foremost. The US-‘Israeli’ Empire is the Yazid (L.A.) of our time and every Yazid needs his Shimr (L.A.), i.e. the mindless, bloodthirsty, dirt-ridden killer who carries out his orders against the Moustazafeen. Al-Saud is certainly the Shimr of this age, inflicting death and destruction wherever Washington and Tel Aviv send it to hurt those descendants of Imam Hussein (A.S.) who carry on his righteous Muhammadi legacy to preserve their homeland, their culture and their religion. And make no mistake, this is not Jonathan Azaziah’s opinion but the view of the Yemeni people themselves indeed. Continue reading Imam Hussein’s (A.S.) Syrian Shi’a Of Al-Foua’a And Kefraya Commemorate Ashoura In Spite Of Ongoing Takfiri Siege

by Jonathan Azaziah

Just as Imam Hussein (A.S.) and his Party were surrounded from all sides by the shaytanic army of Yazid (L.A.) in Karbala on Ashoura, today the Syrian Shi’a in the Idleb villages of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya are besieged from every direction by the Takfiri terrorist scourge. But in defiance of all the grisly trauma that they have been enduring at the hands of Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham and other “moderate” barbarians since March 2015, these brave humans pictured here, who represent the flesh-and-blood reenactment of the Karbala 72’s incomparable sacrifices, are continuing to hold Ashoura processions as we speak. Masha’ALLAH! Like the partisans of Imam Hussein (A.S.) were deprived of water by the enemies of Islam, the people of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya have been disconnected from all the most basic necessities by the US-‘Israeli’ Empire’s Wahhabi proxies, but still they haven’t let the Ashoura commemorations be halted! Like Abou Fadhl al-Abbas (A.S.) and Ali Akbar (A.S.) heroically fell in hails of arrows, the people of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya face near-daily shellings and have buried hundreds of martyrs, but still they haven’t let the Ashoura commemorations be stopped! Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak To The Suffering But Steadfast Syrian Shi’a Of Al-Foua’a And Kefraya

by Jonathan Azaziah

Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak to all the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), no matter if you are Shi’a, Sunnis, any other Islamic school of thought, or even non-Muslims who simply have a heartfelt adoration for Imam Ali (A.S.) and his grace, intelligence, wisdom, eloquence, military genius, strength, poetic prowess, diplomatic skill, knowledge, lionheartedness and all-around lofty aura. And a special Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak goes out to the suffering Syrian Shi’a of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya, two villages in Idleb’s outskirts that have been barbarically besieged by the Takfiri terrorist maniacs–chiefly Jabhat al-Nusra and “moderate” Ahrar al-Sham–since March 2015. These people, whose dauntlessness is of an unparalleled status, are enduring starvation, malnourishment, the rapid spread of too many infectious diseases to count, medicine shortages and near-daily shellings with all sorts of Western-provided weaponry. All of which is happening with ZERO mainstream media coverage and very little alternative press reportage either.

The martyr count is in the hundreds since the blockade began and the wounded count is in the thousands. Children, including infants, are among the dead and the injured. And if it wasn’t for the Hizbullah-trained NDF fighters from among the people and the handful of moujahideen from Iraq’s Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba defending the twin towns, the Takfiris would have already descended upon them and, in their rabid anti-Shi’a bloodthirstiness, carried out a genocide. Imam Ali (A.S.) once said “Anyone who loves we Ahlul Bayt must be ready to face a life of hardship.” Our Mawla (master) must have been talking about Al-Foua’a and Kefraya because their struggle embodies this saying to a frightening letter. Ramadan Massacre Hits Syria, But “Labayki Ya Zaynab!” Is Still What We’ll Chant After Damascus Bombing Today

by Jonathan Azaziah

Labayki ya Zaynab (A.S.)! The Takfiris’ Ramadan Massacre steamrolls along, this time taking a break from killing us in Iraq and hitting our Syrian brothers and sisters instead today at the Sayyeda Zaynab shrine in Damascus. There’s at least 20 martyrs, women and children among them, and dozens upon dozens of wounded, many of them critically, after two blasts–a suicide explosion followed by a car bomb–ripped through the area around the sanctified site. What is most infuriating of all is not even the US-‘Israeli’-Saudi-backed terrorists’ insistence on continuing to slaughter Muslims as we are fasting for the Holiest Month; at this point, as sick as it sounds, it’s almost expected as these Takfiris have no religion, they have no god, they have no morality, and they no humanity; all they are is nihilistic mercenaries working towards the end goal of their masters which is “Greater ‘Israel'” and the elimination of all regional resistance, an end goal which is as delusional as it is diabolical.
