Seeing the exceptionally lovely Syrian First Lady Asma al-Assad on Russia 24 today was like departing a hustling, bustling, disgusting and corrupted city with smog-ridden skylines for the greenery, pristine streams, picturesque mountains, Divine-sculpted valleys and incomparably sublime clear air of the Damascus and Latakia countrysides. It was THAT refreshing. And she was THAT amazing. Over the course of the 33-minute interview, Asma took Western ZOGs–those fraudulent “Friends of Syria”–totally to task for their criminal sanctions against Syria; declared her humbleness before the families, wounded and martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army; tipped her hat to Syria’s TRUE friends, especially Russia; blasted the Zionist media’s selective humanity vis-à-vis Takfiri terrorist attacks on government-held areas; and most impressively of all, exhibited a fearlessness that not even most people in our region, including Syrians themselves perhaps, let alone the people of the globe, were aware that she possessed–a testament to her realness and humility. Today, we truly saw the Lioness of Damascus roar! Continue reading Asma Al-Assad Isn’t Just The First Lady Of Syria But Of The Entire Arab-Islamic World

It is all types of despicable that the Zionist media has hijacked the martyrdom of Jordanian Mouqawamist writer, journalist and thinker Nahed Hattar in an attempt to spread fitnah between Muslims and Christians. The New York Times, The Guardian, BBC, CNN, The Telegraph, Al-Jazeera and numerous other mainstream outlets have all made it a point in their reportage of Nahed’s killing to repeatedly highlight–in the fashion of typical psychological warfare and hasbara operations–his Christian background against a backdrop of rampaging, bloodthirsty, ever-advancing, basically-sentient “Islamic extremism” which is consuming every non-Muslim voice of “moderation” and “tolerance” in our region. There is no nuance. There is no political or geopolitical analysis. There is no notation of the social and religious peripheries, particularly in Jordan. Nor is there any historical context whatsoever. The Parasites’ Press simply wants everyone to follow Hattar’s murder strictly through the lens of the lone event which Zion says is the reason he was killed: His Facebooking of a cartoon that led to him being put on trial for “insulting Islam”. And then on the day of that trial commencing, an “Islamic extremist” gunned him down in front of an Amman courthouse for that very cartoon. The Parasites’ Press however, as if this really even needed to be articulated, is lying through its corroded teeth. Senior Ansarullah Commander Muhammad Ali al-Houthi is a blessing and the very embodiment of humbleness. Here we have a man who spent his entire life on the battlefield protecting his brethren from regime repression in northern Yemen, playing a major tactical and organizational role in every victory achieved by Ansarullah in the six wars with the dictatorship between 2004 and 2010, not to mention the routing of US-Saudi-backed Al-Islah (the Yemeni chapter of the “Muslim” Brotherhood) in the summer of 2014, but when asked to lead the Yemeni Revolutionary Committee–a transitional, post-revolution political body–because of his brilliant strategic mind and keen ability to analyze critical geopolitical situations, he accepted the role in spite of how much it pained him to leave his brothers still engaged in firefights all over the nation. Subsequently, after guiding the Yemeni people and their Resistance through an 18-month period of instability and then of course the Saudi-imposed aggression, he willfully and gracefully steps down from his post as de facto ruler of Yemen, thus ceding power to the newly, democratically formed Supreme Political Council which will govern Yemen’s affairs from this point forward. And what does the man do after that? He returns to the front lines of the struggle, once again putting his life on the line to safeguard his people from the Wahhabi Kingdom of Darkness. Verily, that kind of selflessness is rarer than alexandrite; that kind of love of country blings brighter than even the most splendiferous Yemeni Agate. This is why I love Dr. Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian President is pictured here breaking the fast in Eastern Ghouta with the brave soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army. Syria’s head of the state, on one of the most volatile battlefields in the country, eating with his men, during Islam’s Holiest Month, and not a drop of fear in his aura! Beautiful! To hell with the Zionist media’s filthy, fallacious depiction of him as an “autocrat disconnected from his ‘subjects'”; to hell with the “radical leftist” portrayal of him as a “dictator hated by the people” with a “cult of personality” and a “sycophantic inner circle” surrounding him ; to hell with it all. In blatant contradiction of such unhinged, US-State-Dept-originated Zioganda, the Lion of Damascus is a true man of the people who loves and supports the Syrian citizenry and its armed forces as much as they love and support him. Could a national military wage an unconventional war against Empire-backed Takfiri terrorism for over half a decade if the nation’s leader was a maniacal despot who raped and pillaged his own people for his own selfish aims, among them pure bloodthirsty kicks and giggles? Would nearly 90% of Syrians vote for a man in an internationally-administered democratic election if he was an insulated megalomaniac who didn’t have their interests, i.e. the eradication of the aforementioned Empire-backed terrorism, the preservation of their nation’s ancient pluralism and the defense of its sovereignty, at heart? Of course not. Continue reading Dr. Assad, A True Man Of The People, Breaks Fast With SAA In Eastern Ghouta

Yesterday marked the 49th anniversary of the murderous Zionist regime’s massacre of US sailors aboard the USS Liberty. Beyond a mere crime of the utmost egregiousness, beyond a mere classical example of the typical murderous behavior of the artificial ‘Israeli’ entity, the cruel assault on June 8th, 1967 that left 34 US servicemen dead and 173 others wounded showed just how pathologically monstrous the Jewish supremacist tumor is, as it put the entire globe in the crosshairs of nuclear war in the name of its regional as well as international designs. Again, the attack on the USS Liberty wasn’t just another case of Zionist mass killing but a false flag with a codename, Operation Cyanide, and ‘Israel’, in conjunction with its double agents and sympathizers inside the CIA, planned to sink this American ship, blame it on Egypt, and then rally (via its lobbying tentacles in the US) Washington into a warmongering frenzy so it would invade Cairo, overthrow Gamal Abdel Nasser and decapitate Arab Nationalism, not to mention put the US in direct confrontation with the Soviet Union. “The Preemptive strike” is the term which most political and military analysts used to describe the campaign which the Syrian Army and its allies in Hizbullah and the IRGC have launched against the terrorist groups in the southern part of the country.
Being preemptive, the Syrian military campaign is launched to foil all the terrorist plots devised by the takfiri groups which are directly supported by the Zionist entity, the West and a number of Arab countries. Damascus, SANA – Interview given by President Bashar al-Assad to BBC News, following is the full text:
Welcome to a BBC News Special. I am Jeremy Bowen. I am in Damascus, in the Presidential Palace, the complex which overlooks Damascus city; and here we have been interviewing the president of Syria, Bashar al-Assad.
Question 1: Mr. President, you’ve lost control of large areas of Syria. The jihadist group that calls itself Islamic State has emerged. There are perhaps 200,000 Syrians dead, millions have lost their homes. The UN envoy Staffan de Mistura has called this the most serious humanitarian crisis in the world since the Second World War. Has Syria become a failed state?
President Assad: No, as long as the government and the state institutions are fulfilling their duty towards the Syrian people, we cannot talk about failed states. Talking about losing control is something completely different. It’s like if you have an invasion of terrorists coming from abroad, and the government is doing its job in fighting and defending its country. The latest battles on the southern front in Syria fall within the context of the escalation with Israel in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and southern Lebanon. Although coordination between Israel and armed opposition groups preceded the attack in Quneitra, the surge in fighters along the Daraa, Quneitra and Zabadani fronts suggests, according to some, a clear Israeli message — namely, that they are able to engage on more than one front.
Even before the latest snowstorm, most Syrian fronts were relatively calm compared to the situation in recent weeks and months, from Aleppo and Idlib in the north to Daraa and Quneitra in the south, including the Hama, Homs and Damascus countrysides. The only exceptions were ISIS’s battles with Kurdish forces in Kobane (Ain al-Arab), and with the Syrian army in Deir Ezzor. Continue reading Syria: Israeli Hands Meddling On The Southern Front
Israel will export natural gas to Egypt, Jordan and Turkey, a top US official told Bloomberg, claiming political obstacles preventing the export deals will be overcome.
“We have a remarkable situation where the self-interest of each of the parties is remarkably similar in the energy sphere,” Bloomberg quoted Amos Hochstein as saying. Hochstein, the US State Department’s special envoy for international energy affairs in the region, gave an interview at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in Tel Aviv University.
