Matriarch and Mother of Mouqawamah Finally Joins Her Sons: Rest In Glory To Umm Imad, Hajjeh Amina Salameh (R.A.)

by Jonathan Azaziah

Hajjeh Amina Salameh (R.A.) Umm Imad Mughniyeh. The Matriarch of Mouqawamah. The Mother of Victories and Mother of Martyrs. From her womb, emerged an undefeated nation. Through her hands, the greatest moujahideen since the time of Rasoulallah (S.A.W.W.) were nurtured, raised and sculpted into the architects of triumph; the builders of buildings that rest on a foundation of eternal freedom. Through her words, a special soul, Hajj Redwan (R.A.), was inspired to be the champion Islam required and constructed the School of Fighting used by the Lebanese Islamic Resistance of Hizbullah to this day and hated by the enemies of humanity across the globe. It began with Hajjeh Amina. No woman in the whole of the Ummah apart from Sayyeda Zeenat Zakzaky has sacrificed more in the fight against Zio-Imperialism. Early yesterday, she was finally called home by ALLAH (SWT) to be with her sons and her grandson in a palace in the Akhira so awe-inspiring that very few in all of Islamic history, male or female, revolutionary or aesthetic, can claim a station as high. She was 80 years old.

FLASHBACK: Sheikh Zakzaky Visits Tombs Of Hizbullah’s Greatest Martyrs, Salutes Hajj Imad & Jihad Mughniyeh (R.A.) and Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah (R.A.)

by Jonathan Azaziah

As we are in the midst of both the 11-year anniversary of the 2006 July War in which Hizbullah prevailed over ‘Israel’, as well as the 18-month anniversary of the Zaria Massacre that led to Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky’s illegal jailing by the ‘Israeli’-aligned Nigerian regime, the timing could not be more apt to flashback to July 29th, 2015 for the International Union of Resistance Conference in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs– a summit to build unity and solidarity in the Islamic world as well as devise new strategies to confront and eliminate the usurping Zionist entity. Zakzaky, the ideological Nigerian son of Ayatollah Sayyed Ruhollah Khomeini (R.A.), Africa’s foremost Anti-Zionist personality and one of the most critical revolutionary minds to emerge from The Ummah in centuries, was one of the premier participants in the event. Qassem Suleimani in Beirut: An Exceptional Event

by Jean Aziz, Al-Monitor

Two events marked the Lebanese political scene during the last days of January 2015. The repercussions of these events are expected to extend over more than a month. The first event, leaked through the media, was the visit to Beirut on Jan. 29 by Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani, a shadowy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ Quds Force — as described by some in the West.

The second was the content of the speech delivered the next day after the visit by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, in particular regarding the party’s stance on Israel and the new and developing confrontation. Continue reading Qassem Suleimani in Beirut: An Exceptional Event

Zionist settlements in panic over Hezbollah reprisal

by Hussein Dakroub, The Daily Star

BEIRUT: A state of panic gripped Israeli northern towns Wednesday as the Jewish state braced itself for a possible Hezbollah reprisal over last week’s airstrike that killed six party fighters and a senior Iranian general in Syria’s Golan Heights.

Israeli forces were placed on high security alert following reports, which later proved to be false, about an infiltration attempt by gunmen from Lebanon into Israel’s border. Continue reading Zionist settlements in panic over Hezbollah reprisal

After the burial of martyr Imad Mughniyeh about seven years ago, the family gathered at the grandfather’s house. PRC Spokesman: Future Operations Against the Enemy will be ‘Thorn in Israel’s Throat’

by Qassem Qassem, Al-Akhbar English

Abu Mujahid, spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees, was a guest of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon. During his visit, Israel assassinated Hezbollah resistance fighters in the province of Quneitra in Syria. Abu Mujahid attended their funerals. The Lebanese resistance and Palestinian resistance are part of one body, he says. Before his return to Gaza, Al-Akhbar conducted this interview with him.

The Popular Resistance Committees is a Palestinian coalition formed after the second Aqsa Intifada in 2000. Several operations were carried out by its military wing, the al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades. Most notable among these operations is the the first bombing of the Israeli Merkava tank, in addition to “Operation Dispelled Illusion,” during which Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was captured and three secretary-generals were assassinated.

Al-Akhbar: What is your take on the assassination of Hezbollah fighters in the Syrian province of Quneitra?

Abu Mujahid: This is a serious escalation. The Israeli occupation does not like to see calm in the region. Israel will realize that assassinating this large number of martyrs in Quneitra was a foolish act and will have consequences. The blood of the martyrs, and the blood of Jihad, the son of martyred commander Imad Mughniyeh, will only further motivate the resistance.
