On This 3rd Anniversary Of Maaloula’s Liberation, Never Forget Hizbullah’s Role In Freeing The Ancient Christian City

by Jonathan Azaziah

April 14th, 2014 is a day that should be celebrated by anyone and everyone in the world who considers himself or herself a follower and student of Jesus Christ (A.S.) Because it was on this day 3 years ago that the Syrian Arab Army, flanked by moujahideen from the Lebanese Islamic Resistance of Hizbullah on every side, liberated ancient Maaloula, the oldest continuously inhabited Christian town in the world and one of the only places left on the face of the planet where Christ’s (A.S.) native tongue of Aramaic is still spoken. It was Hizbullah in fact which spearheaded the operation under the direction of martyred Commanders and founding members of the Mouqawamah Sayyed Zulfiqar Hajj Moustafa Badreddine and Hajj Ali “Alaa Bosnia” Fayyad. The liberators of Lebanon sacrificed several fighters in the battle and after Al-Qaeda was humiliated and driven from this picturesque, archaic town in the strategic Qalamoun Mountains, they stayed behind and helped Maaloula’s residents rebuild their homes and churches. This is why those who travel through Maaloula today find Hizbullah’s yellow banner draped alongside crosses, portraits of Maryam (A.S.) and the Syrian Arab Republic’s flag. Muslim-Christian unity and Co-Resistance in its most gorgeous form. To Mark Good Friday, Let Us Remember That Jesus Christ (A.S.) Was A Revolutionary

by Jonathan Azaziah

To all my beautiful and brilliant Christian brothers and sisters, heartfelt felicitations to you on the solemn occasion of Good Friday. The pompous, malevolent and parasitic forces that persecuted Jesus Christ (A.S.) 2,000 years ago are the very same demons–the Synagogue of Satan–who are waging war on Christians and Christianity today, whether directly through their occupation of Palestine and their malicious, hateful material routinely released in Hollywood, or by proxy through their Takfiri terrorist vassals destroying churches in Syria and Iraq. These creatures of darkness, who laughably refer to themselves as “chosen”, out of sheer hatred for Kalimatullah (A.S.) [the Word of God; what Christ is called in the Holy Qur’an], are also actively attempting to drive a wedge between those who venerate him–Christians and Muslims–and manipulate us into fighting one another. If Jesus Was a Rebel, Who was He Rebelling Against?

by Richard Edmondson, The Ugly Truth

You could perhaps consider this a primer for Christian Zionists, although others, possibly even atheists, might find it interesting as well. Here is the question: If Jesus was a rebel, then who was he rebelling against? Jackson Browne, although his song is quite nice, doesn’t really give us an answer. Let us then examine the matter ourselves and see if we can reach a conclusion. Continue reading If Jesus Was a Rebel, Who was He Rebelling Against?
