The Brotherhood Between Malcolm X (R.A.) and Dr. Mohammad Taki Mehdi (R.A.): How Shi’a Islam Changed Malcolm X Forever

by Jonathan Azaziah

To mark Malcolm X’s (R.A.) 92nd birthday, I’m going to go ahead and drop a gem on y’all that is going to both wow you and put a great many things into perspective about the revolutionary giant’s life and martyrdom–a gem that you’ve never encountered before because Saudi-funded “Muslim” groups and “Muslim” Brotherhood types have attempted to falsely and maliciously portray Malcolm’s reversion to Islam as a “victory” for Salafi-Wahhabism. While El-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz was indeed guided by the great Sunni scholars of Al-Azhar, and while he famously wrote in the Egyptian Gazette on August 25th, 1964 that he was trying with all his heart “to live the life of a true Sunni Muslim”, the man who had the most profound impact on him and who represented the guiding force that led him away from the heterodox beliefs of the Nation of Islam, was Iraqi-American Shi’a scholar, activist and father of the Arab nationalist struggle in the US, Dr. Mohammad Taki “M.T.” Mehdi (R.A.) Born in Karbala where his father owned a coffee shop and raised in New York City, M.T. was Husseini to the core and a towering figure himself, fiercely campaigning for the Palestinian cause until the day of his death and routinely exposing Zionist domination of media, politics and entertainment within the United Snakes of IsraHELL. He was harassed, bullied, attacked and there were multiple attempts on his life by Jewish terrorists throughout his time on this plane. The Iraqi legend first met Malcolm X in 1958 and they maintained close contact over the next 7 years. Nakba Day Special – Eleventh & Twelfth Pieces Of “Eternally Husseini” Promo Artwork Are Now Out: Archbishop Atallah Hanna and Fathi Shaqaqi

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Y’all better have your calendars marked! “Eternally Husseini” is just 10 days away! And since today is the 69th anniversary of the Nakba, yours truly and Intifada Street’s Mohammad Hamza, who did both of these absolutely remarkable pieces, decided to release something special for the occasion: Archbishop Atallah Hanna and martyred Islamic Jihad founder Fathi Shaqaqi (R.A.)

Some may object to us displaying a Christian figure, even one as revolutionary as the Archbishop, with the Zulfiqar Mic-Sword but we wholeheartedly reject such objections and criticisms. The Zulfiqar Mic-Sword represents a person who speaks the truth no matter what–just like Imam Hussein (A.S.)–and who fights for truth no matter what–just like Imam Hussein (A.S.) And there are very few in the Arab-Islamic world who do either of those things quite like Atallah Hanna. This is a man who has spoken up in defense of Islam while many of his fellow clergymen cowered; who has exposed the Zionist plot to foment Muslim-Christian division when many other “Arabs” and “Muslims” and “Christians” signed on to the scheme; who has stood upright for the Syrian Arab Republic when too many “Palestinians” and other “Arabs” betrayed their brothers and aided the destabilization plot; and who has not stopped fighting for the Palestinian Right of Return when large chunks of the “Palestinian leadership” have sold out to the Zionist occupation. Lest we forget that it was a Lebanese Christian, George Jordac, who wrote the best biography on Imam Ali (A.S.), “The Voice of Human Justice”. And lest we also forget that Christians flock to Karbala every year for Arba’een. Indeed, Imam Hussein (A.S.) and Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) are not merely personalities to be venerated solely by Shi’a nor just by Muslims but all of humanity. While I do not mention Archbishop Atallah Hanna by name on “Eternally Husseini”–he’s featured on another album of mine, “Enemy of the Entity”, in the closing track “Beautiful Corpse”–everything that he stands for is everything that the record embodies. Ninth Piece Of “Eternally Husseini” Promo Artwork Is Out: Gamal Abdel Nasser

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Tick-tock! “Eternally Husseini” is just 21 days away!!

Father of the Arabs. Voice of the Arabs. Smile of the Arabs. Hope of the Arabs. Liberator of Egypt. Sire of the Nonaligned Movement. Unifier of Africa. Gamal Abdel Nasser, rendered here spectacularly and beautifully by the invaluable and incomparable Mohammad Hamza of Intifada Street, was all that and more. Much, MUCH more. The revolutionary legacies of so many are directly linked to Nasser and all that he achieved after throwing off the shackles of the Egyptian monarchy and Rothschild-financed British Imperialism–everyone from Indonesia’s Sukarno to Ghana’s Nkrumah, Congo’s Lumumba to Palestine’s Habash, Libya’s Qadhafi to Syria’s Hafez al-Assad and more. Much, MUCH more. Nasser was larger than life. Larger than reality itself! He was a giant who could walk through solar systems as if he was merely crossing the street and thanks to his unmatched eloquence, unrivaled passion and all-encompassing love for our people, millions upon millions of Arabs and others in the Global South achieved Mouqawamah Consciousness under his watch. Islamic Movement of Nigeria Plans Huge March To Mark 500 Days Of Zakzaky’s Illegal Imprisonment

by Jonathan Azaziah

Word just came in from a very dear brother of mine in Sokoto that the blessed people of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) will be marching today with their Sunni, Sufi and Christian allies to mark 500 days since Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky was unjustly thrown into prison by the cruel and torturous Buhari regime. There won’t be any Zionist media coverage. There won’t be any little trendy hashtags put out by the “Palestine Solidarity Movement”–which despicably ignores the plight of the Sheikh to this day EVEN THOUGH he is the foremost champion of the Palestinian cause on the African continent. The “Muslim” Brotherhood will be mum. And the “human rights” organizations won’t make a peep because supporting the oppressed Shi’a of Nigeria isn’t in line with any US-‘Israeli’ stratagem. But those of us with a heart, a soul and a conscience don’t take leads from these devils or hypocrites ANYWAY so prayers for our Nigerian brethren are absolutely in order and then some. Because the murderous tyrant in Abuja has shown a tremendously brutal propensity towards massacring the peaceful members of the IMN on important occasions. Al-Quds Day ’14 comes to mind. The Zaria Massacre of ’15. The Kano City slaughter of ’16. Continue reading Islamic Movement of Nigeria Plans Huge March To Mark 500 Days Of Zakzaky’s Illegal Imprisonment

In Iraq, Sunni-Shi’a Joint Prayers Are The Ultimate Weapon Against US-Zionist-Saudi-Daeshi Sectarianism

by Jonathan Azaziah

Beautiful. Just… BEAUTIFUL. Shi’a moujahideen of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units pray with Sunni tribal elders just outside of Mosul before returning to the battlefield to move forward with the liberation of Iraq’s second city. What’s the best way to weaken an enemy which seeks nothing less than your complete implosion via sectarian terrorism? By locking knuckles and declaring “We Are One Hand”. And that’s exactly what Iraq’s civilians, soldiers and fighters are doing. Continue reading In Iraq, Sunni-Shi’a Joint Prayers Are The Ultimate Weapon Against US-Zionist-Saudi-Daeshi Sectarianism

Iraqi Shi’a Legend Abou Azrael Prays With A Sunni Fighter Near Mosul, Demolishing Zionist Media’s Sectarian Narrative

by Jonathan Azaziah

Nothing says “Jummah Mubarak!” like Islamic unity. Pictured here are Omar al-Tikriti, a Sunni fighter of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, and Abou Azrael (Ayyoub Faleh al-Rubaie), commander of the Imam Ali (A.S.) Brigade and Iraq’s most prolific Shi’a moujahid who has single-handedly neutralized nearly 1,000 ISIS terrorists. (Yes, the big-bearded Takfiri slayer keeps his weapon on his sajjadah ’cause badassery is just what he does :D!) The two Muhammadi soldiers are praying together before returning to the battle against MossadDaesh on the outskirts of Mosul. Joint Sunni-Shi’a prayer sessions are routine in Iraq’s conflict zones. Not only due to the genuine love and brotherhood between the moujahideen of each respective Islamic school of thought, but also because there is no greater weapon against ISIS than the categorical rejection of division. If there was so much violent sectarianism in Iraq, how could these two be anywhere near the same vicinity as one another, let alone praying together? If there was a “Sunni-Shi’a war” unfolding on Mesopotamia’s streets and sands, how could this even be possible? If the Sunnis hated the Shi’a, wouldn’t Omar go for Abou Azrael’s jugular? And if the Shi’a were “marginalizing” and “persecuting” and “communally cleansing” Sunnis, Abou Azrael would’ve put his boot on his comrade’s neck, not kneel down side-by-side with him in worship, right? Right. So stop believing the filth of International Zionism’s press. At Aleppo’s Great Mosque, Syrian Sunni-Shi’a Unity Prevails Over Erdogan’s Wahhabi Sectarianism

by Jonathan Azaziah

Mawlid al-Nabawi in Syria’s Aleppo is extra-special this year. Two days ago on Jummah, Sunni and Shi’a prayed together in the Old City of Aleppo’s Great Mosque for the first time since Al-Qaeda groups occupied Halab nearly five years ago. The Takfiris ruled over the Great Mosque, also known as the Umayyad Mosque, with the same savage Wahhabi repression as the rest of Aleppo. Nobody but those who subscribed to the terrorists’ warped, Judaic, violent, intolerant perversion of Islam were allowed to even set foot in the historical compound, let alone pray in it. Today however, thanks to the Syrian Arab Army and its comrades, the ancient landmark is open to all people and Syria’s indigenous communal harmony has returned to the grounds. After all, the Great Mosque is the very embodiment of unity, as it is the burial place of the Prophet Zakariya (A.S.), father of Prophet Yahya [John the Baptist] (A.S.), figures affectionately revered by Muslims and Christians alike. It is thus fitting that Sunni and Shi’a would pray as one in this hallowed sanctuary to celebrate the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.W.) birthday, the liberation of Aleppo and the preservation of Islamic unity as well as Syria’s sovereignty and identity. “Silence On The Sheikh”, Final Single Off “Eternally Husseini”, Is Now Out!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

On this day one year ago, the brutal Nigerian army unleashed complete and utter hell on the Husseiniyah Baqiyatullah in Zaria, home to Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky and the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN). Hundreds (possibly thousands) of Shi’a Muslims were murdered in the barbaric massacre, hundreds more were disappeared, at least 50 young women were kidnapped and the Sheikh himself, along with his wife, were thrown into prison on baseless charges. The American regime, the usurping Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia all had hands in the nightmarish crime. And to this very day, in spite of the Anti-Zionist, Anti-Imperialist identity of the IMN and the stature of Sheikh Zakzaky as Africa’s most formidable revolutionary and the world’s most prolific disseminator of the Deen on Earth–he’s brought between 5-10 million humans to Shi’a Islam in the last 37 years–“Palestine Solidarity Movement” activists and “The Ummah” at large have forgotten that ALLAH (SWT) gifted them with tongues. Muslim Press Interviews Jonathan Azaziah About Arbaeen, Iraq And Islamic Unity

In an interview with Muslim Press, Muslim poet Jonathan Azaziah says, “This year’s Arbaeen march, as well as the marches of the previous two years, can be considered the largest peaceful protest against Daesh, Takfirism generally, Zionism and Imperialism on the face of the planet.”

Read the full text of the interview:

Muslim Press: Millions of Shia Muslims have defied ISIS terror attacks by visiting the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Arbaeen. How do you see this event?

Jonathan Azaziah: I see it in an ultra-straightforward manner: It’s the most beautiful thing in the world! You have more than 20 million human beings, mostly Shi’a Muslims of course, but also Sunnis, Sufis, Christians of all stripes, Shabakis, Ezadis and even a handful of Hindus, traveling to the holy sands of Karbala to renew their commitment to the person of Imam Hussein (A.S.), the original revolutionary; the primordial defier of tyranny; the master of martyrs and the grandsire of resistance. Ever since Aba Abdallah (A.S.) achieved victory through his sacrifice on Youm al-Ashoura in 680 A.D. (61 A.H.), a divide has existed in the world that can accurately be described as the Husseini-Yazidi split. Those who stand with justice are the partisans of Imam Hussein (A.S.) and those who stand against what is right are the partisans of the degenerate despot Yazid (L.A.) Anyone who would attempt to harm the former–i.e. these beautiful people, these souls of remarkable spirituality who love Imam Hussein (A.S.) more than they love anything–are agents of evil. And of course, from the modern geopolitical perspective, this year’s Arbaeen march, as well as the marches of the previous two years, can be considered the largest peaceful protest against Daesh, Takfirism generally, Zionism and Imperialism on the face of the planet. Yet this dazzling event remains largely under the radar among Western audiences on the one hand due to extraordinarily limited (essentially nonexistent) media coverage and primarily unknown to Arab-Islamic audiences outside of the Shi’a school of thought on the other hand because of the slanted, shameful, sectarian “reportage” from the likes of brutal dictatorships Saudi Arabia and Qatar. “Silence On The Sheikh” and “Long Live Syria III”, Next Singles Off “Eternally Husseini”, Coming Soon!

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

With the imprisonment of Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky now entering its 11th month, the world at large primarily remains nowhere to be found on his plight and the cause to find justice for the Zaria Massacre victims. And this theme, SILENCE, whether from “The Ummah”, the “Palestine Solidarity Movement”, the “social justice activists”, the “Anti-Imperialists”, the African-American political “elites”, the “White Savior” liberals, the “Pro-Black” Jews and others, has been featured prominently in my own radio programs and writings since the criminal attacks on the Nigerian Shi’a and their sanctuary, Husseiniyah Baqiyatullah, during December 12-14 last year. But there is only so much that commentaries and podcasts can do. Continue reading “Silence On The Sheikh” and “Long Live Syria III”, Next Singles Off “Eternally Husseini”, Coming Soon!
