The Times of Israel, an independent Israeli newspaper that counts among its staff a number of former reporters for the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, published a fascinating but largely overlooked story datelined Jerusalem and Zhitomir, Ukraine, March 16, 2014, and which was written by its respective Russian and Ukrainian correspondents, Hirsh Ostropoler and I. Z. Grosser-Spass, citing a secret report provided to the Israeli government. The report, written by a select panel of scholars of Jewish history drawn from academia and other research centers, concluded that that European Jews are in fact descended from Khazars, a war-like Mongol-Tatar group that ruled over Ukraine and southern Russia, which mass-converted to Judaism in the eighth century AD.
Zionists have long argued that the land claimed by Israel was the biblical birthright of the Jewish people who were forced from the land in a so-called «diaspora» after repeated conquests by various empires. Proof that Ashkenazi Jews, which make up a majority of the Israeli Jewish population, have no historical link to Palestine would call into question the entire premise of Israel as the historical «5,000-year old» homeland of the Jewish people. BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – Despite the continuous harassment to him and his family by Israeli soldiers for more than 20 years, and despite the continuous demolition of his humble tin-roofed house near Israel’s separation wall, 60-year-old Ali Salim Mousa from the town of al-Khadr south of Bethlehem remains firm on his land.
Speaking to Ma’an on Sunday, Mousa said his house had been demolished by Israeli forces four times, and “the fifth demolition is on the way.”

Following the first phase in approving a controversial bill to officiate Israel as a uniquely Jewish nation state, Israeli authorities now intend to build a water barrier to expand its political hegemony. Israel’s Foreign Minister, furthermore, has proposed paying off Palestinian citizens to leave the country.
PNN correspondence reported, Sunday, that Israeli sources plan to build the intended barrier 2.8 miles high.

NABLUS (Ma’an) — An Israeli settler was knocked down by a car and critically injured on Monday near Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli media reported.
The 50-year-old man was hit near the Zaatara checkpoint south of Nablus and critically wounded, according to Israeli news site Ynet.

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Israeli forces shot and critically injured a 22-year-old Palestinian woman on Monday after she allegedly stabbed an Israeli settler near Gush Etzion in the southern West Bank.

Israel is training members of the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK/MKO) in Jordan along the border with Saudi Arabia in order to carry out acts of terror inside Iran and neighboring Iraq, Press TV has learnt.
According to sources, who declined to be named, the MKO terrorists are undergoing training on how to conduct terrorist operations in Iran and Iraq and receiving technical as well as information technology (IT) training from Israeli agents.
