Gaza has become an open-air prison after Israel decided to close two border crossings with Gaza, after a rocket allegedly fired from the Palestinian enclave struck its territory.
The Israeli blockade comes a week after Egypt closed its border with Gaza. With all borders closed, more than one and a half million people in Gaza are now isolated from the outside world. They are prisoners inside the 360 square kilometers that make up the coastal Strip. Continue reading Over 1.7m Gazan Palestinians isolated from the world after Israel, Egypt close crossings

The situation in Palestine is never monotonous or quiet. The intensity of the events in Palestine leads most news to be forgotten the next day. As such, the recent war on Gaza and its repercussions have pushed the question of prisoners out of the limelight from the media and political circles.
Gaza – Samer al-Issawi and Sheikh Khader Adnan – the two men who symbolize the “battle of the empty stomachs,” with their hunger strikes – are currently held in Israeli prisons far away from the cameras or any active mobilization on the ground. TEHRAN (FNA) – A despicable conspiracy is being unfolded along the Egyptian border with the Gaza Strip: Egypt’s military rulers are expelling the civilian population from the area to level the entire neighborhood and build a “buffer zone” with the besieged city, where roads, schools, hospitals, mosques and the electricity plant are still in ruins.
According to Egypt’s Al-Yom a-Sab’a, “The buffer zone will extend between 1.5 and 3 kilometers. The security forces will work to clear the area of underground tunnels leading to Gaza and it will also level any buildings and structures that could be used to conceal smuggling activity.” Continue reading Egypt, Israel Turning Gaza Into Super-Max Prison
Egypt has started work on a controversial buffer zone by destroying homes along its border with the Gaza Strip, following some of the worst attacks on the army since President Mohamed Morsi was ousted last year.
Bulldozers began destroying several abandoned houses along the frontier on Wednesday, just days after armed men attacked an army post killing 31 soldiers in the area.
Egypt has declared a state of emergency in the Sinai Peninsula and indefinitely closed the Rafah crossing, the only non-Israeli passage for Gazans. Continue reading Egypt blows up houses for Sinai buffer zone

Necessity is the mother of invention. The Resistance has recently demonstrated its biggest achievements yet in the fight with Israel. Indeed, it is not an exaggeration to say that Gaza, and behind it Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah, had anticipated the day when the borders and the sea surrounding Gaza would be sealed off. Today, Egypt and Israel are stepping up their coordination to make the sea off limits to the resistance, while in the south, their armies are working to establish a buffer zone and even a water trench, in the hope of putting an end to the smuggling of rockets from the Iranian desert to the Mediterranean. GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — The Popular Resistance Committees’ armed wing on Wednesday called for armed resistance from Palestinians and a regional boycott from Arab countries to counter what it called Israeli violations in Jerusalem.
In a press conference held in Gaza City, the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades called on Arab and Islamic nations to close Israeli embassies and boycott the Israeli economy to pressure Israel to cease restrictions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. (EDITOR’S NOTE: The Sisi regime, backed by the Zionists and their shabbos goyim in Washington, continues to prove whose side it is on, despite some what some delusional “anti-imperialists” insist on saying to the contrary. With the deepening of the siege against an already isolated and terrorized Gaza, Sisi and his SCAF gang are reaffirming that they are nothing more than goons of the “Israeli” regime, and beyond that, vomit-inducing anti-Palestinian racists. ~ Jonathan Azaziah) Continue reading Egypt to create buffer zone along Gaza border
The debut EP from Madd Cold aka Jonathan Azaziah, “Enemy Of The Entity”, is now available! Written and recorded at the height of the murderous, illegitimate “Israeli” regime’s genocidal Operation Mighty Cliff (better known as Protective Edge) assault on Gaza over the summer, “Enemy of the Entity” — Mouqawamah Music’s first release — is a masterpiece work of unmatched passion and next-level lyricism dedicated to the Palestinian people and their precious cause. Mixed and mastered by underground Hip-Hop legend Payday Monsanto, with beats done by heavyweight VTZ, Shaolin sharpshooter Metal Gear Solid (a dear brother who passed before his time, rest in power) and rising star Dark Night, and featuring partner-in-rhyme and Mouqawamah Music content editor Khanverse, Madd Cold’s “Enemy Of The Entity” has been released on this date to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Kufr Qassem massacre. All proceeds will be donated to the Zaytoun-Bil’in Project which aims to plant olive and fig trees in defiance of criminal Zionist settlers who habitually attack Palestinian farms. “Enemy Of The Entity” isn’t just an EP, it’s an experience. Buckle up, ’cause you ain’t never heard Hip-Hop like this before! (EP cover by Chris Katko)
