The Syrians of Damascus are in the throes of an all-out humanitarian catastrophe. And the blame lies solely at the gnarled, spiked feet of NATO (led by the US and Turkey) the GCC (led by Saudi Arabia and Qatar) and the usurping ‘Israeli’ entity. Just prior to Aleppo’s complete liberation, Earth’s Most Evil activated Daesh in Eastern Homs and carried out a full-fledged assault on the ancient city of Palmyra. The terrorists retook the Pearl of the Desert and fierce fighting in and around the area continues up until this moment. But the monstrous, murderous individuals who run Empire Zionica weren’t content with this crime against humanity so they decided to outdo themselves and implement something far worse and far more destructive. Takfiri terrorist groups, with Jabhat al-Nusra spearheading the initiative, dumped diesel and other contaminants into Wadi Barada’s Ain al-Fija reservoir on December 23rd and the 5 million residents of Damascus have been without water ever since. Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad and his team, while providing water rations to as many people as they can, are pursuing a two-pronged strategy via diplomacy and military operations to try and dislodge the mercenaries from Wadi Barada and restore the flow of potable H2O. Reports have surfaced about a possible “peace” agreement and many terrorists have surrendered, but since it is the Washington ZOG pulling the strings and not the head-chopping death squads merely doing their masters’ bidding, the disaster is far from over. Something miraculous is happening in eastern Aleppo. The Syrian Arab Army and its allies have already liberated more than 60% of the area and are moving–incredibly fast, to be clear–towards taking the remaining 40% before year’s end. They’ve already regained numerous ultra-strategic districts, namely Sakhour, Hanano and Tariq al-Bab–which gives them full control over the road to Aleppo International Airport and which connects the east and west axes of the city–and despite losing the key district of Sheikh Sa’eed after briefly freeing it, fierce fighting is ongoing and it should return to the hands of Resistance forces imminently. As Iran and Russia advise and oversee, reinforcements from the SAA’s mighty 4th Mechanized Division and the Republican Guard as well as Hizbullah, Syrian-Palestinian paramilitary group Liwa Al-Quds and Iraq’s Harakat al-Nujaba and Kata’ib Hizbullah are on the way to mount what can be deemed the most important offensive of the entire war: The final push into the remaining pockets of east Aleppo still under terrorist occupation, an operation that will liberate the city in its entirety. Syria is, as I once described it on a previous song, “The heaven on earth that every man imagines/Graveyard of empires, land of jasmine/Genesis of civilization and the patron of resistance/Hallowed ground of the ancients and the scriptures/More than just a state, it is the basis of existence/Mother of the East, Father of the West/To the martyr, it is the harnesser of breath and to the invader it is the harbinger of death/” In short, Syria is EVERYTHING. It is for this reason that I wrote “Long Live Syria” almost four years ago. Then, because of the hideous failure of so-called “Anti-Imperialists” to expose the Zionist-Saudi chemical weapons false flag in Eastern Ghouta in August 2013 for what it was, I wrote the infinitely more vicious and enraged follow-up, “Long Live Syria II (Stay Silent O’ Cowards)” – of which the aforementioned lyrics are taken from. And yet here we are, three years after that, and the Western-Zionist-GCC media’s propaganda war on Syria continues unabated, as does the complicity of many segments of the “activist” population, Muslims and non-Muslims, Arabs and non-Arabs alike. This comes in spite of the fact that the Syrian Arab Republic has defended Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine and supported the resistance movements in the latter two with arms and blood. The photos released today of the Syrian Women’s Basketball League shouldn’t merely be commented on because of beautiful women — and no doubt that Bilad al-Sham, from Aleppo’s northern tip to gorgeously resistant Bint Jbeil and everywhere in between, is home to the most radiant women on Earth 🙂 <3 –engaging in a game that isn’t allowed in areas of Syria occupied by the backwards, barbaric, bloodthirsty Takfiris, i.e. exposing the dichotomy between secular Syrian rule and the murderous intolerance of British-spawned, Judaically-derived Wahhabism. Nor should the pictures be spread solely due to the ethno-sectarian makeup of the players–Sunni, Shi’a, Druze, Alawi, as well as Armenian and Assyrian Christians–which vibrantly shows the Syrian Arab Republic’s incandescent pluralism. Both points are equally valid and critical to make note of but these women–and the actual game that they passionately play–represent something far bigger: A massive blow to the ongoing global propaganda campaign against Syria, its people, its president and its army. Because as Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has said repeatedly, the media war against Damascus is even bigger than the military war, so images like this constitute something equivalent to game-changing battlefield advancement in Aleppo, Hama or the Syrian capital on the war-front of information. This is the story of martyred Iraqi moujahid Hussnayn al-Sa’adi of Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba, may he rest in power and in dignity and be appreciated by the Angels (A.S.) until the end of time. He was martyred in Syria on February 2nd, 2015 and it is a story that has never been told before up until now. The reason for writing it at this very moment in time is rather simplistic: We are in the midst of the first 10 days of the Muharram, that painful time when we relive the suffering of Imam Hussein (A.S.) and the Karbala 72, as well as reflect on how the sacrifices made on Youm al-Ashoura 680 A.D. (61 A.H.) affect us all today when thrown against the backdrop of the current geopolitical landscape. So what better time to recount the life of a Shahid as Husseini as Hussnayn al-Saadi than this one?! Born in Kufa and raised in Karbala, Hussnayn would begin his life as a moujahid at the tender age of 18 when the American-Zionist aggression was launched against Iraq. He joined the ranks of the Mahdi Army before heading towards Asa’ib Ahlul Haq and was known for his fiery demeanor, love of Palestine and passion for the Holy Qur’an, attributes which he put to good use on the battlefield, hyping up his fellow fighters in the confrontation against the invaders. Hussnayn would partake in liberating Basra from US-British occupation as well as several key battles in and around Baghdad. All my love and all my du’a to Iraq and Syria. Yesterday, the Takfiris not only murdered Iraqis in Kazimiyeh, but shelled a restaurant in Damascus, slaughtering at least 8 Syrians and wounding dozens more. Today, the terrorist mercenary cockroaches were at it again, carrying out yet another cowardly suicide attack on Iraqis, this time taking 20 innocent lives in Khalis, Diyala, and once more shelling Syrian civilians to death in both Damascus and Aleppo–martyr count stands at 4 today, including a child. Iraq and Syria not only share a common struggle against the triple-headed beast of Zionism, Imperialism and Takfirism, nor do we merely share a common identity as the mothers and fathers of all nations in the Arab-Islamic world as well as many in the West, the sanctified soil from which infinite languages and cultures have grown and bloomed, the twin souls of the Fertile Crescent and the Cradle of Civilization’s left and right ventricles. Indeed it extends beyond this transhistorical symbiosis. Bilad al-Sham and Bilad al-Rafidayn also share a common sacrifice, as both Syrians and Iraqis, men, women and children, Muslims, Christians, other faiths and nonbelievers, have given their tears, their blood and their very lives to preserve the sovereignty and dignity of our ancient lands in the face of the most vicious conspiracy that Empire Judaica has ever orchestrated. Labayki ya Zaynab (A.S.)! The Takfiris’ Ramadan Massacre steamrolls along, this time taking a break from killing us in Iraq and hitting our Syrian brothers and sisters instead today at the Sayyeda Zaynab shrine in Damascus. There’s at least 20 martyrs, women and children among them, and dozens upon dozens of wounded, many of them critically, after two blasts–a suicide explosion followed by a car bomb–ripped through the area around the sanctified site. What is most infuriating of all is not even the US-‘Israeli’-Saudi-backed terrorists’ insistence on continuing to slaughter Muslims as we are fasting for the Holiest Month; at this point, as sick as it sounds, it’s almost expected as these Takfiris have no religion, they have no god, they have no morality, and they no humanity; all they are is nihilistic mercenaries working towards the end goal of their masters which is “Greater ‘Israel'” and the elimination of all regional resistance, an end goal which is as delusional as it is diabolical. In three months, or March 2015, Syria will enter the fourth year of its bitter internal conflict. Most Syrian provinces have suffered from the ongoing insurgency, seeing battles between the Syrian Arab Army and increasingly fundamentalist insurgents which have left extensive destruction in their wake. But while government troops have managed to turn the tide against the insurgency and are now on the offensive on all but one fronts, the sight of another battle looms on the horizon – the battle for the economy. Damascus, SANA – Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Sunday addressed two identical letters to the UN Secretary General and Chairman of the UN Security Council on the Israeli aggression on the Syrian soil.
The messages read that Israel has committed a heinous crime against the sovereignty of Syria as Israeli warplanes attacked two safe areas in al-Dimas and near Damascus International Airport in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage in a number of institutions there.
The Ministry stressed that the attack is in the framework of extending help and support to the armed terrorist groups in Syria, especially after the series of achievements made by the Syrian army in Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Daraa and other areas.
