A Poem For Al-Saud’s School Bus Massacre In Yemen’s Saada: “Bloody Coloring Books And Backpacks”

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

Can’t even breathe right…

At the moment, I don’t see days, I only see night…

And I don’t mean those with stars and Luna Blaze…

I mean those engulfed in blackness, choking on scars infused with rage…

Bloody Coloring Books and Backpacks all in my vision…

So many bodies, so much innocence killed…

Trying to find the names of every kid who’s been spilled…

Anxiety sets in, the agony of every victim we feel…

I’m shivering, quivering like they’re with me, like they live in my quill…

Bloody Coloring Books and Backpacks, I’m appalled and I’m sickened…

On a school bus they were, on their way to summer camp…

When the warplanes came and razed their summer plans…

Despicable oppressors claimed it was okay, they were allayed, untroubled and…

If it had to be repeated, they said they would, inhuman tools of Zion and slaves of Uncle Sam…

Bloody Coloring Books and Backpacks, if only they took longer on that most gorgeous of picnics… Continue reading A Poem For Al-Saud’s School Bus Massacre In Yemen’s Saada: “Bloody Coloring Books And Backpacks”

After The School Bus Massacre In Yemen’s Saada, It’s Time The World Says “Death To Al-Saud!” With One Voice

by Jonathan Azaziah

The righteous wrath of ALLAH (SWT) and the crushing storms from His heavens be upon the accursed House of Saud. In what will register as one of the sickest, most twisted and most gruesome atrocities in the 3.5 years of its genocidal aggression against Yemen — which is saying quite a bit because there have been SO many ungodly massacres — the Wahhabi tyrants occupying the Hijaz bombed a school bus full of children in Saada’s Dahyan as it made its way through a market towards summer camp. Saudi Arabia murdered at least 51 kids in the air raid — the vast majority of them under 10 years old — and badly wounded over 79 other civilians — the vast majority of them kids under 10 years old too. The martyr count is going to go up because the injuries are horrific, the siege continues to cripple Yemen and the supplies necessary to save lives just aren’t available. Scenes of the carnage plastered all over social media are just about impossible to look at. Screaming and bleeding children. Tiny bodies blown to bits and missing limbs. Incomprehensible sadness on the faces of parents who lost what was dearest to them and medical professionals who couldn’t save lives despite their best efforts. The depth of depravity that one has to sink to murder children over… and over… AND OVER again… is unfathomable. And the evil and hellishness that have to exist in one’s mind to then actually rationalize the barbaric spilling of these little ones’ blood is irredeemable. RIP To My Beloved Friend Ghassan Al-Husseini: Yemeni Hero, Yemeni Tragedy

by Jonathan “Madd Cold” Azaziah

I write to y’all today, paradoxically, brokenhearted after the death of my oldest friend, yet simultaneously proud beyond quantification of his bravery and martyrdom. My beloved brother Ghassan al-Husseini, Brooklyn-bred but Yemen’s own, was wounded in a Saudi regime air raid on Saada City on August 24th and after slipping into a coma a few days later, finally succumbed to his wounds early yesterday morning. Ghassan’s lungs had been punctured by shrapnel from Al-Saud’s American-made bombs, and because of the barbaric US-UK-Saudi-‘Israeli’ siege on Yemen, the incomparably courageous Yemeni doctors could not, despite repairing his lungs, prevent sepsis from overtaking his body because they didn’t have the antibiotics available to fight it. I am… devastated. And furious. So furious. Because this shouldn’t have happened. Continue reading RIP To My Beloved Friend Ghassan Al-Husseini: Yemeni Hero, Yemeni Tragedy
