Counter-Hegemony Stands Tall In Aleppo: Giant Putin, Assad and Nasrallah Portraits Adorn Tonight’s Victory Celebrations

by Jonathan Azaziah

This. Hell yes. This right here… THIS is what I’m talking about. Tonight in liberated Aleppo, hundreds of thousands of Syrians from every ethno-religious background were in the streets to celebrate freedom ringing in their ancient city for the first time in nearly half a decade. No Ahrar al-Sham, no Jabhat al-Nusra, no Daesh, no Jaysh al-“Islam”, no FSA, no Noureddine Al-Zinki, no Takfiri filth whatsoever! Song and dance, smiling and laughter, Christmas decorations and Islamic calligraphy for the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.W.) birthday, Syrian Arab Republic flags and Hizbullah banners, Russian flags and Iranian flags, and LIFE, wonderful, harmonious, big, bright LIFE in Halab have all returned. And to literally top off the gorgeous and joyous occasion in the Azaziyah area of the city, right across from a massive Christmas Tree, are three enormous portraits of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad and Hizbullah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the men most responsible for this triumph. As courageous RT journo Lizzie Phelan reported, these giant-size pictures were not paid for by the Syrian government, nor Moscow, nor the Lebanese Islamic Resistance. They were put up by a local shop keeper to pay homage to the leaders who gave him his life, his business, his city and his home back. Amazing. At Aleppo’s Great Mosque, Syrian Sunni-Shi’a Unity Prevails Over Erdogan’s Wahhabi Sectarianism

by Jonathan Azaziah

Mawlid al-Nabawi in Syria’s Aleppo is extra-special this year. Two days ago on Jummah, Sunni and Shi’a prayed together in the Old City of Aleppo’s Great Mosque for the first time since Al-Qaeda groups occupied Halab nearly five years ago. The Takfiris ruled over the Great Mosque, also known as the Umayyad Mosque, with the same savage Wahhabi repression as the rest of Aleppo. Nobody but those who subscribed to the terrorists’ warped, Judaic, violent, intolerant perversion of Islam were allowed to even set foot in the historical compound, let alone pray in it. Today however, thanks to the Syrian Arab Army and its comrades, the ancient landmark is open to all people and Syria’s indigenous communal harmony has returned to the grounds. After all, the Great Mosque is the very embodiment of unity, as it is the burial place of the Prophet Zakariya (A.S.), father of Prophet Yahya [John the Baptist] (A.S.), figures affectionately revered by Muslims and Christians alike. It is thus fitting that Sunni and Shi’a would pray as one in this hallowed sanctuary to celebrate the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.W.) birthday, the liberation of Aleppo and the preservation of Islamic unity as well as Syria’s sovereignty and identity. RIP Iraqi Moujahid Hussnayn al-Sa’adi: Nubl And Al-Zahra Will Never Forget Your Heroic Sacrifice

by Jonathan Azaziah

This is the story of martyred Iraqi moujahid Hussnayn al-Sa’adi of Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba, may he rest in power and in dignity and be appreciated by the Angels (A.S.) until the end of time. He was martyred in Syria on February 2nd, 2015 and it is a story that has never been told before up until now. The reason for writing it at this very moment in time is rather simplistic: We are in the midst of the first 10 days of the Muharram, that painful time when we relive the suffering of Imam Hussein (A.S.) and the Karbala 72, as well as reflect on how the sacrifices made on Youm al-Ashoura 680 A.D. (61 A.H.) affect us all today when thrown against the backdrop of the current geopolitical landscape. So what better time to recount the life of a Shahid as Husseini as Hussnayn al-Saadi than this one?! Born in Kufa and raised in Karbala, Hussnayn would begin his life as a moujahid at the tender age of 18 when the American-Zionist aggression was launched against Iraq. He joined the ranks of the Mahdi Army before heading towards Asa’ib Ahlul Haq and was known for his fiery demeanor, love of Palestine and passion for the Holy Qur’an, attributes which he put to good use on the battlefield, hyping up his fellow fighters in the confrontation against the invaders. Hussnayn would partake in liberating Basra from US-British occupation as well as several key battles in and around Baghdad. Syrian Shi’a Of Al-Foua’a And Kefraya Commemorate Ashoura In Spite Of Ongoing Takfiri Siege

by Jonathan Azaziah

Just as Imam Hussein (A.S.) and his Party were surrounded from all sides by the shaytanic army of Yazid (L.A.) in Karbala on Ashoura, today the Syrian Shi’a in the Idleb villages of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya are besieged from every direction by the Takfiri terrorist scourge. But in defiance of all the grisly trauma that they have been enduring at the hands of Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham and other “moderate” barbarians since March 2015, these brave humans pictured here, who represent the flesh-and-blood reenactment of the Karbala 72’s incomparable sacrifices, are continuing to hold Ashoura processions as we speak. Masha’ALLAH! Like the partisans of Imam Hussein (A.S.) were deprived of water by the enemies of Islam, the people of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya have been disconnected from all the most basic necessities by the US-‘Israeli’ Empire’s Wahhabi proxies, but still they haven’t let the Ashoura commemorations be halted! Like Abou Fadhl al-Abbas (A.S.) and Ali Akbar (A.S.) heroically fell in hails of arrows, the people of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya face near-daily shellings and have buried hundreds of martyrs, but still they haven’t let the Ashoura commemorations be stopped! Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak To The Suffering But Steadfast Syrian Shi’a Of Al-Foua’a And Kefraya

by Jonathan Azaziah

Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak to all the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), no matter if you are Shi’a, Sunnis, any other Islamic school of thought, or even non-Muslims who simply have a heartfelt adoration for Imam Ali (A.S.) and his grace, intelligence, wisdom, eloquence, military genius, strength, poetic prowess, diplomatic skill, knowledge, lionheartedness and all-around lofty aura. And a special Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak goes out to the suffering Syrian Shi’a of Al-Foua’a and Kefraya, two villages in Idleb’s outskirts that have been barbarically besieged by the Takfiri terrorist maniacs–chiefly Jabhat al-Nusra and “moderate” Ahrar al-Sham–since March 2015. These people, whose dauntlessness is of an unparalleled status, are enduring starvation, malnourishment, the rapid spread of too many infectious diseases to count, medicine shortages and near-daily shellings with all sorts of Western-provided weaponry. All of which is happening with ZERO mainstream media coverage and very little alternative press reportage either.

The martyr count is in the hundreds since the blockade began and the wounded count is in the thousands. Children, including infants, are among the dead and the injured. And if it wasn’t for the Hizbullah-trained NDF fighters from among the people and the handful of moujahideen from Iraq’s Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba defending the twin towns, the Takfiris would have already descended upon them and, in their rabid anti-Shi’a bloodthirstiness, carried out a genocide. Imam Ali (A.S.) once said “Anyone who loves we Ahlul Bayt must be ready to face a life of hardship.” Our Mawla (master) must have been talking about Al-Foua’a and Kefraya because their struggle embodies this saying to a frightening letter. Eva Bartlett Does Humanity A Favor: Rips Anti-Syria Hasbaranik Stephen Zunes To Shreds

by Jonathan Azaziah

Eva Bartlett is a demon-slayer. The brave globe-trotting Canadian journalist went on RT’s CrossTalk for the very first time, and, with tremendous poise and professionalism, smashed “Professor” Stephen Zunes to smithereens. Many of you should know Zunes as a “nonviolence”-spewing charlatan, a veteran NGO-Human-Rights-Industrial-Complex goon, a longtime protector of the usurping Zionist entity’s cancerous existence and an enthusiastic early proponent of the ‘Israeli’-NATO-GCC-spawned “Syrian revolution”. The sister eviscerated the myth of the “moderate rebel”, in categorical rejection of Zunes’s lies, exposing the crimes of Ahrar al-Sham and Harakat Noureddine al-Zinki and blasting the Zionist press’s deliberate failure to cover Syrians enduring so much suffering because of these so-called “moderates”. Zunes droned on and on with the usual talking points of the First World “Left”, the vast majority not even worth repeating, but Eva wasn’t trying to hear any of it. She dropped eyewitness testimonies of Syrians who made it clear that there wasn’t a single difference between the Takfiri terrorist gangs regardless of their titles and she also crushed the longstanding crock of balderdash–which amazingly persists even five years on–that the origins of the war on Syria were “peaceful”. Takfiri Nakba At Work In Tartous and Jableh Today: 145 Syrian Civilians Butchered

by Jonathan Azaziah

Indescribable inhumanity in Tartous and Jableh today. No grouping of words, no matter how eloquent or impassioned, can really express the pain, the shock and the sheer horror felt after the viciousness inflicted on the Syrian people in these gorgeous coastal regions this morning by the Takfiri maniacs of Ahrar al-Sham. At least 145 civilians have been martyred, most of them women and children, and hundreds more have been wounded, in a sophisticated septuple assault consisting of five suicide attacks and two car bombs. This barbaric terrorism comes as the Syrian Arab Army, Hizbullah and their comrades are on the move throughout every major battle front, including the “Vengeance For Hajj Moustafa Badreddine” operations in East Ghouta, the fresh advancement in Deir Ez-Zor and the reactivation of maneuvers in Aleppo’s southern countryside. It doesn’t take a geopolitical genius to figure out the Wahhabi murderers’ motivation here: Unable to subdue Mouqawamah Axis forces in toe-to-toe combat, these beasts engage in the mass murder of the unarmed, innocent and vulnerable, true to their cowardly nature. Linda Sarsour: Zionist Shill Masquerading As Friend Of Syria, Yemen and Palestine

by Jonathan Azaziah

Linda Sarsour is a White House Muslim, a White House Arab, an insult to the Palestinian cause she claims to represent and a vile, lying, Zionist shill. The way this person fawns over Zio-Imperialist First Lady Michelle Obama and her genocidal husband Barack, the slaughterer of Yemenis, Libyans, Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese, Pakistanis, Somalis, Afghans and yes, PALESTINIANS, is downright vomit-inducing. Perhaps this is the reason that every word she utters or writes about Syria is identical to talking points she was ordered to spew from a US State Department memo. In fact, considering how vehemently and vociferously this foul, two-faced hypocrite grants political cover to the Takfiri terrorists and implicitly insists on “regime change” in the Syrian Arab Republic, I’m surprised she hasn’t asked for a job in the Washington ZOG. On “Palestine Solidarity Movement” Activists Spreading Hasbara ‘Bout Aleppo

by Jonathan Azaziah

Massive, mega, moon-sized middle finger to every “Palestine Solidarity Movement” activist tweeting and facebooking about “Assad’s barrel bombs” in Aleppo but not saying a single goddamn word about the innocents massacred by the Takfiri rebels over the past week in the Halab City neighborhoods of Bab al-Faraj, Al-Midan, Al-Mouhafaza, Sayf Al-Dawla, al-Iza’a, Al-Martini, Al-Nile Street and others, including Syrian Muslims slaughtered in a mosque as they prayed during Jummah today and Syrian-Armenian Christians bombarded to death during Palm Sunday. There are Palestinians and Iraqis, refugees welcomed by the Syrian Arab Republic with open arms, being murdered in the terrorist onslaught also, as Aleppo is arguably the most diverse city in all of Bilad al-Sham. Instead of exposing these horrific atrocities however, as well as bringing to light the criminals in “Tel Aviv”, Washington, Ankara, Riyadh and Doha backing the Wahhabi fanatics doing the killing, the aforementioned “Palestine Solidarity Movement” activists foam at the mouth with hasbara about the Syrian government so their Jewish friends don’t accuse them of backing a “Hitlerian-Authoritarian-Neo-Fascist dictator”, and, assuredly, so their Khaleeji homies don’t turn off the petrodollar spigot. Because of course, the notion that ‘Israel’ isn’t a mere “apartheid state” but a cancerous hegemon with designs not just on our region but the whole planet and needs those who resist it, chiefly Syria, knocked out of the frame, is “anti-Semitic”.
