Say salaam to Farzana and Atta Rahimi. They’re 19-year old identical twins from the Afghani Hazara Shi’a community that dwells in the poor Kabul suburb of Dasht-e-Barchi. They were murdered in cold blood 72 hours ago when a Takfiri terrorist from US-‘Israeli’-backed ISIS blew himself up inside a classroom of Mawoud Academy. They were two of 48 martyrs. 67 of their classmates were also wounded in the atrocity. Staying up every night until past 2 o’clock in the morning to bang out their studies, Farzana and Atta were the first ones in their family to finish regular school and also the first ones to enter university. The young woman was exceptionally bright and she aspired to be a teacher so she could raise up the next generation and truly give back to Afghanistan. Her brother was equally intelligent–already an accomplished student journalist, covering social and cultural matters for local news outlet Farhang. He ultimately was looking to become a lawyer. They were born just 15 minutes apart. Inseparable and best friends according to their father, Hassan. Farzana and Atta were martyred together… At the same desk. Can you feel your heart fragment? Can you feel your eyes hitting maximum capacity on the Richter scale? What about your soul? Do you feel the pit within? Only a cadaver… Or an ‘Israeli’… couldn’t. May they find joy in the Akhira, a place much more suited for the pureness they exuded–as opposed to the Nightmare Incarnate that this current life has become. The murderous assault on occupied Afghanistan’s (predominantly Hazara) Shi’a community rages on but the global response has been like a tree falling in the wilderness–it’s as if it didn’t even happen ’cause you weren’t there, right? Disgusting isn’t even the word. Sickening doesn’t even begin to describe such duplicity.
When the Zionist media told you that soldiers of the Libyan Armed Forces, following the orders of Colonel Muammar Qadhafi, were getting near-stoned on Viagra and running around like crazed beasts raping Libyan civilians who had “oppositionist” sympathies… You ate it up like it was pudding. Then when the same “chosenite”-controlled corporate press told you that Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad, after consuming a stew comprised of puppies, baby seals and kittens, gassed Syrian civilians with chemical weapons he didn’t even have… You drank it up like it was liquid chocolate. The hasbara’s a high for you, ain’t it?
But when a Takfiri terrorist walks into a classroom of Mawoud Academy–a Shi’a education center in the poor Kabul neighborhood of Dasht-e-Barchi–blows himself up, and slaughters nearly 50 young students taking extra lessons to prepare for their university entrance exams just a few weeks away… You shrivel up into specks of dust in a sandstorm and fade into the background. People who represented the future of Afghanistan ripped to shreds and thrown into a cocktail of building debris, body parts and bomb fragments. Ambulance sirens screeching. At least 60 other innocents wounded and left to process the shock of the massacre from gurneys while medics tried to save their lives. Carnage mixed with even greater carnage. And the world? Can’t be bothered. We repeat: The duplicity, the selective humanity, the disconnectedness… Leaves us gobsmacked. Afghanistan, like Yemen, Sheikh Zakzaky of Nigeria and occupied Kashmir, has been forgotten by “The Ummah”. That’s why MossadDaesh can carry out twin suicide attacks on a gathering of Shi’a Hazaras in Kabul’s Deh Mazang Square, murder at least 80 innocents and wound over 230 more, and nothing but chirping crickets can be heard in those usually ever-vocal “anti-Islamohobia” and “Muslim solidarity” activist circles. At least four people have been killed in a US assassination drone strike in Afghanistan’s eastern Logar Province.
The attack took place on Monday, with Afghan army officials saying that the victims were Taliban militants. Some reports said a local Taliban commander was among those killed.
The Taliban have not commented on the issue.
The US carries out targeted killings through drone strikes in several Muslim countries, such as Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Somalia.
Washington claims the targets of the drone attacks are militants, but local officials and witnesses maintain that civilians have been the main victims of the attacks over the past few years. Continue reading US drone attack kills 4 in eastern Afghanistan
