Muqtada al-Sadr: Jihad Mughniyeh’s Martyrdom Will Begin Demise Of State Of Absolute Evil

The firebrand Cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr has expressed his condolences for the leader of the Hezbollah Jihad Imad Mughniyeh’s death in an Israeli raid in the Syrian Golan.

He stressed that it will light up the path of Jihad against the Israeli enemy, pointing out that his blood will be the beginning of the demise of the “state of absolute evil.”

Sadr  said “We have received news about the death of the leader of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the martyr Jihad,” adding that, “This will light the path of Jihad against the Israeli enemy as his father was a beacon for all fighters.”

He added, “May God make out of his pure blood the beginning of the demise of the state of absolute evil; by that I refer to the obnoxious Israel and its unjust armies, and at the same time I ask God Almighty to grant Lebanon security and safety.”

A Hezbollah military commander and five fighters were killed in an Israel air strike on January 18, 2015 in the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.

The dead included Mohammed Issa, a Hezbollah commander responsible for its Syrian and Iraqi operations, as well as Jihad Mughniyeh, the son Imad Mughniyeh, a top Hezbollah operative killed in a 2008 car bombing in Syria which was blamed on Israel.

An Israeli helicopter reportedly fired two missiles in the Syrian province of Quneitra near the Israeli Golan Heights, according to Al Maydeen and Hezbollah’s Al Manar TV station.
