Today is a solemn day and a day of reflection. And simultaneously albeit conversely, today is also a day of rage. Because today is Black Day, that time of year when the people of occupied Kashmir and those with Mouqawamah Consciousness in the Kashmiri Diaspora mark the starting point of the occupation of their ancestral lands by the murderous Indian regime. In 2016, the oppression of the Kashmiri people now enters its 69th year. The agony of this crime against humanity–the least talked about crime against humanity on the face of the planet at that–is not only festering like the pus of an open wound in the hearts of Sunnis, Shi’a and Sufis, but Sikhs, Christians and Pandits (Kashmiri Hindus) too.
Barbarity has been taken to levels not previously known before by any other group of humans and in the last 25 some years alone, more than 100,000 Kashmiris have had their lives snuffed out by the increasingly repressive, increasingly ruthless Indian army; at least 137,469 have been arrested and imprisoned, with many subjected to tortures like electroshock, motor oil forced down their throats and sexual violence; at least 22,826 women have been widowed; at least 107,591 children have been orphaned; and in the most gut-wrenching number of all, nearly 11,000 Kashmiri women have been raped. Once the pride of India as it had combated the ever-satanic British Empire and ended centuries of Rothschild-financed colonialism, India’s national armed forces are now nothing but occupiers and tools of New Delhi’s capitalistic, ‘Israeli’-aligned “elites”.
Make no mistake either, the “elites” of the Indian capital are not only a reference to the Hindutvadis like Modi and his BJP/RSS/VHP/Bajrang Dal acolytes. It also refers to the “liberals” of the corrupt Indian National Congress led by the Gandhi-Nehru dynasty, who have inflicted just as much terror and brutality on the Vale as well as the Naxalites in the Red Corridor as any BJP Hindu supremacist. The entirety of the Indian establishment is rotten at its core when it comes to Kashmir and every last one of them are complicit in the ongoing plight in the Valley.
And while there are some Indian “Anti-Imperialists” who attempt to write off the calls of the Kashmiri people for Azadi (freedom/independence) as a “Western scheme”–as if 69 years of military occupation and the murder, rape, torture and imprisonment of hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris over that time period were mere minor grievances–and others who say that it is Saudi Arabia fomenting a “terrorist” rebellion in the Valley through Pakistan to undermine Indian security–I guess those anti-Takfiri Sunnis and Sufis, as well as ten of thousands of Shi’a seen at Azadi rallies holding pictures of Imam Khamenei and Sayyed Nasrallah are actually Wahhabi agents of Riyadh and Islamabad, right?–the fact is, Kashmiris are tools of nobody and they deserve and MUST receive justice. The egregious decision of the Radcliffe Commission to “gift” Kashmir to the Indian Dogras MUST be overturned. And the Indian regime MUST end its illegal presence in the Vale. Kashmir is not Indian. Kashmir is Kashmiri and thus does not belong to the thugs New Delhi calls its “armed forces”.
At 69 years old, the military occupation of the Valley is the oldest such aggression in the world–one year older in fact than that other gaping incision of Rothschild-financed British colonialism, our beloved Palestine. So how fitting is it that as we speak, the ‘Israeli’ entity, which continues to poison Falasteen and the whole of the Arab-Islamic world, is actually intimately working with the Indian regime at all levels to subvert the Kashmiri Azadi struggle, from providing arms, training and surveillance to Indian soldiers–‘Israel’ is India’s largest weapons supplier–to maintaining a network of Mossad agents in the Valley and using its lobbying tentacles across the United Snakes of IsraHELL to work with the nascent Hindutvadi Lobby in an attempt to garner international support for the crushing of the Kashmiri people. There is only one scheme in the Vale: the Indian-Zionist scheme to keep Kashmir occupied indefinitely. Wrong, unjust, evil and unacceptable don’t even begin to tell the tale here.
But as we commemorate Black Day 2016, the story that should indeed be told as a means of lighting fires underneath the ignorant can start with the famous words of Che Guevara, “If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine.” So if you are not trembling at what India and its ‘Israeli’ ally are doing in Kashmir, one must wonder if your ability to feel has disappeared. Because if there is anyone in the world that deserves the support of the people of conscience, it is the humble and righteous Kashmiris. As for those that need a little bit of a push and a tad more confirmation, look no further than the Islamic Republic of Iran–whose anti-occupation stance on Kashmir is as clear as the stars in the Srinagar sky on a chipper wintry night–and Mighty Hizbullah–whose martyred second Secretary-General, Sayyed Abbas Moussawi (R.A.), traveled to the Vale more than once in the early 1980s to offer his solidarity with Kashmiri fighters, protesters and strugglers.
In simpler terms, the Moustazafeen stand with Kashmiris. The Moustakbireen stand with the Indian regime. And after 69 years of this nightmare, and with mountains and valleys–puns intended–of evidence to solidify what is true and what isn’t, choosing the former over the latter shouldn’t be a difficult choice to make even in the slightest. #AzadiForKashmirNow #FreeKashmir
